Created in 1984, the Dam was consolidated as a park, especially after its revitalization, in 2004, when it started to offer various sports with greater infrastructure, however, the intervention did not fully elucidate the problems present in the region, which still has flaws in safety, accessibility , comfort and mobility, affecting the full and democratic use of space, aswell as the local urban landscape.
