Ali patients were submitted to a combínation therapy of streptomycin, isoniazíd and thiacetazone. Mean time of treatment was 82 days. As to side actions, the patients could be divided into two groups: Group I — good tolerance — 8 patients (25%) Group II — wide variety of untoward reactions — 24 patients (75%) It is concluded that because of iti toxicity, thiacetazone should not be included in the schedules of ambulatory treatment.porAcesso AbertoTiacetazona no tratamento tríplice da tuberculose pulmonar, em pacientes virgens de tratamento - resultados preliminaresThiacetazone with streptomycin and isoniazid in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis — preliminary resultsArtigo
