To this end, will be analyzed the productions Many voices (1999), Somewhere nowhere (2010), and A cat named Kitty (2000). The selection justifies itself because there is, in these books, the poetization of the cat, which profile is outlined in the poems addressed to adult and infant audience. The recovery of the feline occurs in movement of complementarity and enrichment of senses from poem to poem, revealing the reflexive aesthetic project of the poet. As critical basis, the assumptions of Bosi (2003), Lafetá (2004) will be considered, among others.El objetivo de este artículo es comparar poemas de Ferreira Gullar (1930 - 2016) direccionados al público adulto y al infantil. Para eso, se analizarán las obras Muitas vozes (1999), Em alguma parte alguma (2010) y Um gato chamado Gatinho (2000). Se justifica la selección porque hay, en estos libros, la poetización del gato, cuyo perfil es trazado en los poemas que se destinan al público adulto e infantil. La retomada del felino ocurre en movimiento de complementariedad y enriquecimiento de sentidos de poema a poema, evidenciando el reflexivo proyecto estético del poeta.
