This question may be simpler: what is the political sense that comes from the representations of the Cerrado? Through an active dialogue with geographers from Goiás and outside Goiás; and also with members of the Social Movements and with all those who defend integral life and human rights, we point out that, for the critical reading of the Cerrado interpretation, there is a need to intertwine the notions of Biome and Territory. This intertwining starts from a premise: the Cerrado of Goiás is a geopolitical construction. Therefore, it is necessary, in a critical analysis, to unveil its ideologization and understand the formation of an unequal territory.El esfuerzo colectivo en torno a la construcción geográfica de un enfoque del Cerrado - y la investigación que involucra directamente el Cerrado en Goiás, permite dos preguntas: ¿cuál es la producción de significado de las diferentes representaciones del Cerrado? Esta pregunta puede ser más simple: ¿cuál es el sentido político que se desprende de las representaciones del Cerrado? A través de un diálogo activo con geógrafos de Goiás y fuera de Goiás; y también con los miembros de los Movimientos Sociales y con todos aquellos que defienden la vida integral y los derechos humanos, señalamos que, para la lectura crítica de la interpretación del Cerrado, es necesario entretejer las nociones de Bioma y Territorio. Este entrelazamiento parte de una premisa: el Cerrado de Goiás es una construcción geopolítica.
