To achieve this objective, a survey was conducted through the administration of questionnaires to Goiás rural producers. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Presented to the Accounting course at the Federal University of Goiás as a partial requirement for approval in the TCC 2 discipline. The research revealed that rural producers recognize the importance of financial management practices in their activities. Although many manage their finances independently, there may be resistance to fully adopting recommended practices.
