This work aimed to identify the profile of entrepreneurs and the characteristics of enterprises that produce table tomato seedlings destined for the State of Goiás. Therefore, an exploratory and descriptive approach was adopted, with the application of a questionnaire and discourse analysis, comprising, therefore, in qualitative-quantitative research. The results showed that the nurseries are strategically located near or in the municipalities that are the largest producers of fresh tomatoes in the State, with the commercial relationships established and maintained according to the physical, nutritional, and sanitary quality of the produced seedlings. It was also verified that the sown materials are defined considering the market demand, associated with resistance to pests and diseases. As a point of attention, in tabletop tomato culture, from the production of seedlings to the management of pesticides used.
