In this aspect, the aim of this study was to evaluate the cagaita postharvest characteristics submitted to different irradiation doses (UV-C). A completely randomized design was used, with four replications and factorial design 5x10 (UV-C radiation x days of analysis). The fruits were evaluated: mass loss, firmness, color, carotenoids, total phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity. The fruit analysis data were submitted to analysis of variance (P <0.05), regression and Tukey's test at 5% probability. The dose of 0,62 kJ m-2 promoted beneficial effects to the fruits, allowing for greater conservation of quality, maintaining the characteristics physical, physical-chemical, bioactive and in good conditions of commercialization for 12 days.porAcesso RestritoEugenia dysenterica DC.ConservaçãoUltravioletaQualidadeConservationUltravioletQualityCaracterização pós-colheita de cagaitas submetidas a radiação UV-CPostharvest characterization of cagaitas submitted to UV-C radiationArtigo10.53660/CLM-552-643
