The experiment was carried out with granulated temephos 1% over A. aegypti most common habitats (asbestos, plastic, ceramic, tin, glass and cement containers and a tire). For each habitat and larval stage a different container was filled with 4 liters of the temephos solution and posteriorly 20 A. aegypti larvae were placed in them. Each experiment was repeated 4 times with a 48 hour interval. Mortality was evaluated 24 hours after the beginning of the experimení, and subsequently within a 2 day interval. Ali assays were carried out in a 12 m" área in the backyard of a private home in a residential área of the city of Goiânia. It was demonstrated that the diversity on the habitat's material had no influence on mortality in ali íarvae stages.
