Due to its characteristics, this platform is easily adapted to use in many different fields and does not require major technological resources or prior technical knowledge, allowing the qualitative and, in some cases, quantitative tracking of samples. There are different types of commercially available testing. The choice of the test format is related to the intended purpose, such as the diagnosis of antigens or antibodies, or other chemistry and biological samples.
