Accomplished an evaluation on some websites of the Brazilian Library Science courses, based on the literature, to ascertain if they can be considered reliable information sources attending the needs from people interested in this subject. It is a bibliographic review about the next topics: information sources, information sources on internet, quality of internet information and evaluation of internet information. It is a quantitative study approach and applied quality, the research still classified as exploratory and descriptive. Selects the discretion of Tomaél et al. (2001) and Loiacono (2002 apud FERREIRA, 2003) for preparation of the evaluation instrument and Sales e Almeida (2007) for preparation of the score applied in the evaluation. It concludes than all sites can be considered sources of information, because attained a score higher than twenty-seven of a total of thirty-five in the Adequate and Partially Adequate categories.
