Among the injuries triggered using prostheses, benign fibroepithelial hyperplasia, also known as inflammatory fibrous hyperplasia, is mainly caused by local trauma. Orocutaneous fistulas associated with trauma, rarely described in the literature, may occur due to injury, local factors, or surgical treatment. The present case is unique due to the association of benign fibroepithelial hyperplasia with an extraoral pathological communication, resulting in a rare orocutaneous fistula of traumatic origin caused by a mandibular complete denture.
