In the city of Goiânia, research is necessary to understand the degree of vulnerability of groundwater resources. Thus, the objective of this work is to understand the vulnerability of water resources in the municipality of Goiânia. For this purpose, the GOD methodology (FOSTER et al., 2002) used with appropriate adaptations. The results indicate that the municipality presents about 61% of its area with very low vulnerability; followed by 13% low; 23% average and 3% high. These areas of medium and high vulnerability are located in the fractured areas at the elevations of the Anápolis - Itauçú Granulitic Complex and at the bottom of the Meia - Ponte and João Leite stream. Thus, precautions, especially preventive ones, are recommended with previous studies on impacts of land use and occupation, and establishing rules for potentially contaminating activities, for example sewage treatment plants and fuel stations.porAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/AquíferosContaminaçãoRecursos naturaisPOSHAquifersContaminationNatural ResourcesVulnerabilidade dos recursos hídricos subterrâneos no município de Goiânia, primeiras aproximaçõesVulnerability of underground water resources in the municipality of Goiânia, first approachesArtigo
