We have verified an estimated global prevalence of 9,05% in 210 será of examined children. The antigen employed was the one obtained from the distai portion of the posterior third of the ileum of calves experimentally inoculated with C. parvum. The IIF test sensitivity, taking the faecal smears as a pattern, was of 79,27%.
