To do so, the novel’s experimentation procedures produced after the 1960s, expounded by Monegal (1979), will be commented on. The considerations of metafictional narratives by Hutcheon (1984) will be used as a basis for reflection. Moreover, Dällenbach (1973) will be remembered to think about the diegetic presence of the writer and the reader in Fonseca’s novel.
