Química Nova, São Paulo, v. 37, n. 4, p. 638-642, mar. 2014.0100-4042e- 1678-7064http://repositorio.bc.ufg.br/handle/ri/15742The phytochemical investigation of Sabicea brasiliensis roots led to the isolation of 5-O-caffeoylquinic acid, 3,5- and 4,5-O-dicaffeoylquinics acids, scopoletin, ursolic acid, a mixture of β-sitosterol, stigmasterol and campesterol, daucosterol and saccharose. The structures of the isolated compounds were assigned on the basis of one- and twodimensional NMR spectroscopic methods and by comparison with literature data. The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities of the crude methanolic extract and its fractions were analyzed.porAcesso AbertoSabicea brasiliensisCaffeoylquinic acidAnti-inflammatory activityConstituintes químicos e avaliação das atividades antioxidante e anti-inflamatória das raízes de Sabicea brasiliensis wernh (rubiaceae)Chemical constituents and evaluation of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities of roots of Sabicea brasiliensis wernh (rubiaceae)Artigo10.5935/0100-4042.20140095
