Goiás has a typical drought in the Cerrado region, which can cause significant loss of productivity of agricultural crops such as sugarcane. In addition, there are few varieties of sugarcane adapted to this drought. The objective was to evaluate the productivity of varieties of sugarcane grown in the Cerrado region in Goiás. The experiment was conducted in Goianésia - GO, in a Red-Yellow Dystrophic Latosol, with clay texture from May 2013 to October 2014, in 2nd harvest condition. It was used a randomized block design with 16 treatments (varieties): CTC2, CTC4, CTC9, CTC11, CTC15, CTC18, IAC87-3396, IAC91-1099, IACSP94-3046, IACSP94-2094, IACSP94-2101, IACSP95-5000, RB867515, RB92579, RB966928 and SP86-0042; and eight repetitions. The highest yields were detected in the varieties IAC91- 1099, CTC15 and CTC2, with average yield of 107 t ha-1, with the lowest av.erage verified in CTC9 varieties, IACSP94-2101, IACSP95-5000 and RB92579, with average yield of 74 tha-1.porAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Saccharum ssp.Adaptabilidade climáticaEstresse hídricoClimatic adaptationWater stressProdutividade de diferentes variedades de cana-de-açúcar submetidas à condição de déficit hídricoProductivity of different sugarcane varieties submitted to the water stress conditionArtigo
