After optimizing (performed at jar test -1 equipment) of the treatment processes was possible to verify that in concentrations of 700.00 mg.L -1 +2 H O , 110.00 mg.L Fe and at pH 4.50, reductions of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) values, 2 2 turbidity values and coloration (absorbance values) were respectively 90.75%, 99.61% and 98.24%. Other environmental analyzes were also carried out, and the values reductions were: Total Organic Carbon (TOC) 96.24%, Oil and Grease 99.26%, Total Suspend Solids 97.36%, Surfactants 73.12% and Totals Phenols 81,85%. The total treatment time was 226 minutes and 30 seconds. When applied in an isolated way, the advanced oxidation processes do not have good efficiency; however, in this study the treatment means Fenton's reaction integrated coagulation/flocculation technology shown high capacity for a full-scale application in the cosmetic segment.porAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Filtro solarReagente de fentonIndústria cosméticaSunscreenFentonCosmetic industryTratamento de efluente de indústria cosmética via reagente de fentonTreatment of cosmétic industry wastewater via fenton reactionArtigo
