This study is dedicated to presenting an overview of cyberpunk imagery and subculture through the analysis of multimedia examples, in addition to introducing the uniqueness of HQtrônicas and the revolution they have brought to the independent comic book scene, and discussing the alarming crisis of security and gender violence that currently affects hundreds of Brazilians.
