Nowadays verifying the polluting potential of waste generated in laboratory practices is extremely importantfor environmental sustainability.This paper presentes an inventory of the main chemical reagentes and solutions used in the chemistry laboratory and their appropriate amounts. It was also evaluted the contents of organic matter, conductivity, pH and turbidity in some liquid samples used in the laboratory routine of environmental analysis. The results showed that even during environmental analysis, residues with a high contente of organic matter and inadequate pH values can be generated.
