The sample for the survey was random, consisting of 28 teachers. Data were collected through semi-structured questionnaire. Data analysis shows that information needs are derived from the demand for jobs teachers; sources of information were used more technical manuals and specialized internet, the library is the most used library Goiandira Ayres Couto's own academy, the most used sites were Google and Military Police of the State of Goiás in terms of assessing the library, we have that, it was rated as good by 82% of respondents. In terms of information, we have, respondents need information to search for other information, which can be classified using information for clarification (22 citations). The barrier most often cited by teachers was the barrier of lack of time (18 citations), which can be classified as social in nature.
