Beyond a merely conjunctural phenomenon, in my evaluation, the crisis of liberal de mocracy is part of deep changes in the social order of capital itself, which exa cerbates the class exclusivism of the bourgeois state and strengthens the au thoritarian and fascist elements contai ned within it.
