Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Bacharelado em Psicologia) - Faculdade de Educação, Universidade Federal de Goiás, Goiânia, 2023.http://repositorio.bc.ufg.br/handle/ri/22149Bearing in mind that social media increasingly occupy a prominent place in children's daily lives in contemporary times, producing new forms of sociability, insertion in culture, this research proposes to reflect on the impacts arising from the market instrumental rationality that make up and it underpins the digital media and consequently makes life spectacular, causing various effects, especially concerning the child who is in the full process of development and subjective formation. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the relationship between sociability processes and the constitution of psychic life. Think of educational processes as a form of socialization and constitution of subjective life; understand the media as an instance of socialization, the processes of spectacularization of life in contemporary times and the way in which the media as an instance of socialization today crosses other instances responsible for the formation process such as, for example, the family and the school and, finally, analyze the impacts of the spectacularization promoted by the media in the child's life. A bibliographical research is then carried out, with an exploratory objective and a qualitative approach. In view of this, it appears that social media, guided by a logic that aims to suppress the child's subjectivity, in order to guarantee the reproduction of unequal relationships, by promoting the idea of an increasingly spectacular and instrumentalized life, impedes its process training for autonomy, producing more and more homogenized subjects.porAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/InfânciaMídias sociaisEspetacularizaçãoIndústria culturalChildhoodSocial mediaSpectacularizationCultural industryImpactos da espetacularização da vida pelas mídias sociais na infânciaTCC
