Uncertainties about the possibilities of meeting future water needs in the Inhanombe river basin motivated this work. This article aims to evaluate the ability to meet water needs through the application of WEAP. Three scenarios were simulated: the reference scenario that corresponds to the current exploitation of water resources; two impact scenarios: Medium and High growth corresponding to the expansion of irrigated area and population growth between 2019 and 2040.
