The proposed description and analysis will be based on studies of Cognitive Linguistics (JOHNSON, 1987; LANGACKER, 1987; LAKOFF, 1990; FILLMORE, 1982) and Construction Grammar (CROFT, 2001; BYBEE, 2010; GOLDBERG, 1995; 2006; TRAUGOTT and TROUSDALE, 2013). The reversibility as the possibility of some constructions acting in substitution of others without semantic damage to the enunciated content and to the meaning effects produced in the text. We consider that the meanings of predicative constructions may be cognitively related to the speakers' experience patterns, that is, to mental representations, which may favor or derail semantic reversibility in instances of use.
