The research has as its central axis the historical construction of Physical Education in Brazil, authors such as Lino Castellani Filho, Carmen Lucia Soares, Valter Bracht, among others substantiated this research. An understanding of school capable of prioritizing human formation was also sought and it is understood that the relationships present in school education are broader than a transmission of content. The methodology adopted was qualitative and exploratory social research, using the semi-structured interview technique for data collection and analysis. In this research we can reflect around a school where the present relations were historically built with a military institution, directly influencing the pedagogical treatment with the school Physical Education.
