Such areas redefined the regional context of the traditional Community of Iratapuru/AP, housing people in a temporary way to attend the accomplishment of a certain construction in an immediate way. This resulted in some implications and (re)existence of traditional peoples with the construction of a Hydroelectric Power Plant. Therefore, this paper aims to understand and analyze the territorial implications of the construction and operation of the Santo Antônio do Jari Hydroelectric Power Plant in the Traditional Community of Iratapuru, in the Iratapuru Sustainable Development Reserve -ISDS, located in southern Amapá State. It verified that the enterprise caused changes in socio-environmental relations and in the perception of people in their sense of place as belonging in space.Las "Ciudades Forestales" son esas regiones planificadas y construidas casi instantáneamentepara albergar, cómodamente, sólo al trabajador del gran proyecto de inversión. Áreas de este tipo redefinieron el contexto regional de la tradicional Comunidad de Iratapuru/AP, alojando a las personas de forma temporal para atender la realización de una determinada construcción de forma inmediata. Esto dio lugar a algunas implicaciones y a la (re)existencia de pueblos tradicionales con la construcción de una central hidroeléctrica. Por lo tanto, este trabajo tiene como objetivo entender y analizar las implicaciones territoriales de la construcción y operación de la Central Hidroeléctrica Santo Antônio do Jari en la Comunidad Tradicional de Iratapuru, en la Reserva de Desarrollo Sostenible de Iratapuru -ISDS, ubicada en el sur del Estado de Amapá.
