The experiment was carried out in ''cerrado1' soils in Goiania county. The six treatments ' used, consisted of the combination of three (3) spacings, with and without pruning. lhe statistical analysis of the obtained data demonstrated that there was no interaction between pruning and spacing. The results obtained and the observations made during the spacing. The results obtained and the observattons m! de during the experimental phase led to the following conclusons: 1- with the increase in density of the groups of shoots per unit of area, there is an increase inweight as well as an increase in the amount of fruit produced. 2- withtn the norms of this experiment, the use of pruning doisn't alter productivtty. 3- with the reduction of area from 36 m to-9 m for each group of shoots, there is an tncrease in productivity, with out diminishing the size of the fruits.porAcesso AbertoArtigo
