This anthropic pressure demands studies that assess the structural configuration of the fragmentation process around protected areas. The Tocantinzinho River basin fits into this scenario and was selectedto assess changes in the landscape structure considering historical data on land cover and use, to identify space-time patterns that may influence the functioning of the landscape. Satellite images (LANDSAT) were classified between 1985 and 2016, with theapplication of landscape descriptive indexes, which allowed spatial comparison in historical succession for the basin area.
