The study was con- ducted in a greenhouse, located in Ipê Nursery in the city of Goiânia-GO, from December 2012 through March 2013. The seedlings were grown in commercial substrate. The experi- mental design utilized was randomized completely, consisting of five treatments, and doses of NPK fertilizer (0, 3.0, 6.0, 9.0 and 12.0 kg m -3 substrate). For each treatment five repetitions with eleven plants each were used. At 120 days after emergence were evaluated the roots length, height, stem diameter, dry mass of shoot and dry mass of root system.
