During this period the political and economic structure, marked by slow time and by simple exchange, particularizing the sociocultural reality of Goiás to constitute the locus of its people. Thus, it is argued that, while commanding the territory for nearly two centuries, the goiana farm was promoter of sociocultural codes and tradition of Goiás, stating the way of life from the people: Goiás backcountry. The purpose is to understand the territorial organization the goiana farm to uncover how this led to the sociability of the backcountry of Goiás.
