In the films Boca de Ouro(1962), O Desafio(1965) eTerra em transe(1967) which discard melodrama as a narrative technique, the journalist is neither a hero or a vilain. From the 1970s on, this approach extinguishes and brazilian newspaper movies became more similar to the american model.
