Thus, it can be very useful in pharmaceutical analysis for determination of drugs in pharmaceutical formulations, identification of impurities, studies of ligand-receptor interactions, and even quantification. Equipment used in fluorimetry can be used as detection systems in other methods, such as high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography.
