Item O conhecimento na perspectiva da construção social: as redes sociais e a gestão do conhecimento em ambientes organizacionais de bibliotecas(2016-04) Ferreira, Liliane Juvência Azevedo; Alvares, Lillian Maria Araújo de Rezende; Martins, Dalton LopesKnowledge Management is a complement to the organizational administration. Among other features, it recognizes the informal information flows, whose treatment requires the use of technologies, promoting the creation, storage and transfer of knowledge. Social Networks, in this context, represent the actors that create, generate and disseminate this knowledge, reinforcing the idea that organizational knowledge is established from the social construction. This article is a theoretical essay whose goal is to introduce some concepts that approximate the themes Knowledge Management and Social Networking. It is an exploratory research conducted through a literature review. Results indicate that such approaches have contributed to the Science of Information and can be applied in organizational environments such as libraries. Social Network Analysis methodology can be an important ally in the promotion of these studies.Item A gestão do conhecimento e a análise de redes sociais: um estudo aplicado no sistema de bibliotecas da Universidade Federal de Goiás(2017-08) Ferreira, Liliane Juvência Azevedo; Alvares, Lillian Maria Araújo de Rezende; Martins, Dalton LopesThe importance given to information and knowledge has led organizations to seek technological adaptations and qualified human resources as a strategic means in achieving objectives. The justification regarding this important statement lies on the continuous development of information and communication technologies that has been developing the production of information and knowledge. Knowledge Management as a practice of dissemination of implicit knowledge in organizations has been an interesting alternative for the organizational administration. And knowledge networks, a systematic link formed by specialists within an organization, constitute a group of people socially involved with the purpose of creating, generating and disseminating knowledge in favor of institutional development. To do so, this research has as main proposal to analyze how knowledge networks are configured in public institutions, taking as an empirical field the library system of a federal university. The research uses the case study as a research method and the analysis of social networks as data analysis technique. The stages consisted in: identification of the actors of the knowledge of the SiBi/UFG; examination of the flow of knowledge; and, finally, analysis of the configuration of the relationships, using graphs in the illustration. The networks found illustrate weakened links in the system. However, to a certain extent, stronger in the groups of libraries, configuring a fragmented social network. It was concluded from the results in ARS that Knowledge Management as an organizational method is not a usual practice in SiBi/UFG; however, SiBi/UFG has some Knowledge Management characteristics in its structure.
