This work is based on the interest on teaching visual art in childhood education and the importance of studying the history of Brazilian art. Presentations of historical references of art so that the child can contextualize artistic making with the cultural formation of the society in which lives and through this contact develops not only art activities in the classroom, but also has a teaching geared towards artistic production, appreciation of art and the artists of their country. Bearing in mind that, in early childhood, the child has an outcrop/sensitive imaginary, will be able to more easily absorb the content presented through a playful moment with storytelling.
