Item Um espaço vivido no Morro do Macaco: diálogos entre a arquitetura e a etnografia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-06-15) Gomes, Nathália Ferreira; Amaral, Camilo Vladimir de Lima; Gonçalves, Glauco Roberto; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Britto, Pedro DultraThis work aims to understand the relation between architecture and the lived and perceived spaces by mankind in rural áreas. It was used an ethnographic approach and a Thematic Analysis (also known as Grounded Theory), in a farm at Macaco’s Hill, in Pirenópolis, Goiás. The comprehension of the place was given by Spatial Triad, by Henri Lefebvre, the Perceived Space, the Conceived and the Lived. As a synthesis of the observation of Lived Space and Thematic Analysis, five key-concepts were elaborated and developed: (2.1) Place of border: The relationship between countryside and city; (2.2) “Take up from the ground”: between intimate and collective; (2.3) “It’s a partnership, right”: Exchange and meeting network; (2.4) “Come on in”: The ontogeny in rural areas; (2.5) Into the Wild: The relationship between sport and nature. Thus, it is intended to add to studies on rural architecture and ethnography, enabling further research about rural dwellings in Goiás and Brazil, since the reinterpretation of living space.Item Estruturas invisíveis de segregação na região metropolitana de Goiânia(2019) Amaral, Camilo Vladimir de Lima; Amaral, Ernesto Friedrich de LimaThis article aims to research the invisible structure of segregation of the Metropolitan Region of Goiânia (RMG), through the interrelations among processes of urban space production, urban planning principles, and population dynamics. These interrelations are fundamental to understanding the structure of socioeconomic inequalities in metropolitan areas. We analyzed the process of formation of segregation structure in the region, addressing the various urban plans developed for Goiânia. We provide a brief analysis of population indicators based on Demographic Census data from 1950 to 2010 and local indicators of spatial association in 2010 to characterize different dynamics in the region. We developed a critical analysis of these aspects, in order to identify and illustrate the main characteristics of the formation of this region in a summary diagram. We discussed how this overall spatial structure contributes to the reproduction of segregated social relations. Main results indicate that RMG does not have a simple centrality or a multi-centrality. There are a series of concentric rings with different types of centralities, which function in an integrated – but not inclusive – segregation system. We also identify research topics of social, demographic, and economic dynamics that would improve our understanding of spatial formation and urban planning in this region.Item O pensamento sistêmico em análises urbanas: uma perspectiva para o problema da segregação socioespacial nas cidades(2019-04) Naciff, Yordana Dias das Neves; Kneib, Erika Cristine; Amaral, Camilo Vladimir de LimaThe present article aims to consider the use of the methodology of the systemic approach in urban analysis by recognizing cities as complex systems that can be ordered and equated to solve the urban problems. Based on the concepts of the General Theory of Systems, the systemic analysis is indicated by several authors as a suitable methodological way to integrate disciplines inthe solution of a real problem. To do so, one must have a complex general problem that presents elements in ceaseless evolution that possess a great variety of interrelationships. Aiming at the application of this methodology, the study turns to the comprehension of the socio-spatial segregation as an integral part of the complex macrosystem of the cities – once this theme is seen as part excluded from this system. A systemic research proposal is developed related to the issue of urban segregation. The research has a descriptive and exploratory nature based on the analysis of theoretical references. By the research it is possible to conclude that the systemic methodological application in urban analyzes – especially in the study of socio-spatial segregation – contributes in a satisfactory way to the accomplishment of urban diagnostics. It was also possible to prove the premise that the segregation can be analyzed as a system that belongs to the macrosystem of cities.Item Private control and public openness: the development of London’s public spaces since the Mayor’s 2009 manifesto(2016) Amaral, Camilo Vladimir de LimaItem The production of project: a subversive guide to the subject of innovation(2019) Amaral, Camilo Vladimir de Lima
