For the progress, the following specific objectives were defined: 1) To describe the didactic-pedagogical strategies adopted by physical education teachers to discuss health in the classroom; 2) Identify the bibliometric characteristics of the articles. The methodological approach used is based on qualitative research. The methodological approach used is based on qualitative research. The work was developed through articles that presented a didactic-pedagogical experience with the topic of health at school published in the Cadernos de Formação RBCE. In data collection and analysis, the following was used: a stage that was based on the search and selection of articles, explaining how such articles were arrived at. At the end of all this analysis, it was concluded that the limits of this work are related to the low production and identification of articles that characterized a didactic pedagogical experience, having found 7 articles that fit, even highlighting that it was possible to observe the work of some teachers, both from universities and schools, using teaching strategies and resources, such as photographs, reading assignments and videos.Item As percepções dos egressos sobre os saberes aprendidos na Associação Atlética Acadêmica dos cursos de Educação Física da FEFD/UFG(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-07-19) Lima, Bruno de Paula; Oliveira, Victor José Machado de; Oliveira, Victor José Machado de; Inácio, Humberto Luis de Deus; Abib, Leonardo TrapagaThe aim of this study was to identify the perceptions of the graduates on the knowledge learned in the Academic Athletic Association of the FEFD/UFG courses of Physical Education (AAAFEF). Specifically, it aimed to identify and analyze the knowledge learned during participation in the AAAFEF, as well as to discuss the implications of this knowledge for academic training. This is a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study. It involved 8 graduates who took part in the athletics program and answered a questionnaire with open-ended questions. The data was analyzed using the content analysis technique. The results show that perceptions indicate that learning was based on the knowledge of practical experience and a deficit in the plural knowledge of academic training (disciplinary and curricular knowledge). The data shows that the students perceive Athletics as a good place to "put into practice" some academic knowledge and that conceptual knowledge is marginalized in the daily life of Athletics. This study contributes to a better understanding of the knowledge learned in the AAAFEF and its perceptions.Item Estudantes da Universidade Federal de Goiás em situação de dupla carreira – elementos facilitadores e dificultadores para conciliação(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-12-05) Carneiro, Kaio Matheus Mendonça; Abib, Leonardo Trapaga; Guimarães, Juracy da Silva; Guimarães, Juracy da Silva; Abib, Leonardo Trapaga; Tondato, Marcus Vinicius; Santos, Lusimar Pinto dosThis study investigates the challenges faced by student-athletes in reconciling their academic career and sports practice, focusing on the Federal University of Goiás. Qualitative and exploratory research, carried out with 64 participants, used a questionnaire to identify barriers and facilitating factors. The results indicate that time management (53.1%), physical and mental fatigue (37.5%) and lack of institutional support (85.9%) are the main obstacles faced. The analysis reveals that the absence of specific public policies for dual careers limits the integral development of student-athletes, reinforcing the need for greater academic flexibility and institutional support. The study contributes to the literature on dual careers in Brazil, by offering insights for improving policies and strategies aimed at integrating the academic and sporting spheres, promoting the balance and development of both.Item Prevalência, métodos e desfechos da rápida perda de peso em judocas: uma revisão(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-11-25) Silva, Pablo Henrique Pereira da; Abib, Leonardo Trapaga; Abib, Leonardo Trapaga; Sousa, Marcel Farias de; Freitas, João Victor Rosa deThe practice of rapid weight loss (RWL) is common in sports with weight-division categories, especially during pre-competition phases, with the aim of competing in lower weight categories than the athlete's usual weight, in the expectation of gaining a physical advantage over opponents. This study aims to review the prevalence, methods, and outcomes of this practice in judokas, considering its impacts on physical, biological, and psychological parameters. The review included original articles from the PubMed and SciELO databases that examine the use of RWL in athletes of different ages and competitive levels. A total of 10 studies were selected, many of which revealed adverse effects associated with RWL, such as significant dehydration, loss of balance, reduced muscle strength and endurance, as well as impaired performance and increased anxiety, anger, and fatigue. Various RWL methods were identified, ranging from fluid and food restriction to the use of sweat-inducing clothing and increased training intensity. The findings emphasize the need for safe strategies and proper monitoring for athletes engaging in these practices, particularly in high-level competitions. Given the potential risks to the physical and mental health of judokas, it is recommended that sports federations and coaches adopt guidelines to minimize these impacts, prioritizing the athlete's well-being and promoting a more balanced and safe approach to competitive weight management.
