Item A imagem do bibliotecário em outra cultura: uma análise das representações do profissional nos animes e mangás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-01-18) Lisboa , Pedro Augusto de Moura; Melo, Camila Alves de; Melo, Camila Alves de; Castro , Maria das Graças MonteiroThe present article aims to understand the representations of librarians in anime and manga. It contextualizes the concepts of culture, social representations, and representations about librarians, as well as the role of librarians in Japan. It uses qualitative methodology, with a basic nature, descriptive character, and documentary procedure. It uses narrative study as a method, identifying the theme, plot, setting, as well as the physical, psychological, and social characteristics of the librarian characters. It discusses the representations observed in the librarian characters of the anime and manga analyzed, conducting brief analyses of the librarian's vision in those works. Positive representations of librarians are identified, in which the image of professionals committed to passing on information to the user is perceptible, even being politically engaged and active.Item A influência do uso de hashtags nas publicações do perfil oficial da UFG no Istagram: um estudo da comunicação e interações com o usuário(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-01-24) Nascimento, Wállery Félix; Oliveira, Lais Pereira de; Oliveira, Lais Pereira de; Ribeiro, Geisa Muller de CamposIt addresses indexing in a virtual environment by analyzing the use of hashtags in the context of the official profile of the Federal University of Goiás on Instagram (@ufg_oficial). It aims to analyze, through critical evaluation of publications on the official UFG profile, how the use of hashtags in its publications can expand the reach of the content produced and promote greater dissemination of information on the social network. The research is descriptive in nature and has a qualitative-quantitative approach, regarding all publications that were made throughout the 2022/2 semester. The results demonstrate that the institution has a stable public and interactions, and that they use tags as a way of indexing the shared image and also to attribute authority to the departments that carry out the university's internal and external actions, there is also a lack of standardization in the use of terms. It is concluded that UFG uses the tool made available by Instagram in order to explore its various uses, contributing to agility in the search for information and facilitating communication with the academic community, despite the lack of standardization in its use, which ends up demanding the creation of an indexing policy to standardize and control its use in the web environment.Item Abordagens acerca da prática de leitura de idosos no Brasil: uma revisão de literatura(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-02-06) Leite, Igor Izaias Cunha; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Melo, Camila Alves; Cavalcanti, Larissa Andrade BatistaThis research, given the growing population of elderly people in Brazil and around the world, considered reading as a practice that contributes to increasing the quality of life in old age. In this way, the objective was to understand the scenario of studies on the practice of reading among the elderly, and what leads them to seek reading in their daily lives. Furthermore, it seeks to prove that the practice of reading works as a tool for social inclusion, citizenship, well-being, independence and active participation in society. To this end, a quantitative-qualitative research was carried out, where, through research focused on databases of scientific works, 28 works were found and analyzed, including articles, course completion works, dissertations and theses. The analysis of these works verified that the practice of reading, despite being proven necessary, does not have an efficient incentive for its dissemination. Furthermore, it exposed issues relating to historical issues of literacy difficulties in the pedagogical context, which have repercussions even in old age. On the other hand, the studies reviewed show that the group that has access to and maintains the practice of reading in their daily lives are active, conscious, participatory and empowered people.Item Análise da indexação e recuperação da informação na Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da Universidade Federal de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-06-11) Sá Júnior, Adilson Ribeiro de; Carvalho, Lívia Ferreira de; Carvalho, Lívia Ferreira de; Oliveira, Lais Pereira de; Ortega, Cristina DottaConceptualizes what indexing is and discusses the steps involved in this process. Its main objective is to analyze the indexing policy used in the BDTD-UFG, as well as its impact on the search and information retrieval process by the user, answering the following question: How does indexing impact the search and retrieval process of the information in the BDTDUFG? The specific objectives that helped to answer this question were: (1) to know the indexing policy used; (2) to identify the difficulties faced by BDTD-UFG users in retrieving information; (3) analyze the process of searching and retrieving information by the BDTDUFG user; (4) verify the correspondence between the adopted indexing and the information retrieval. The constructed theoretical foundation seeks to portray aspects of the analysis of primary and secondary sources of information, which allow reflections on: information organization (IO), documentary indexing and indexing policies. The research was applied with the Gerência de Recursos Tecnológicos - GRT, of the Sistema de Bibliotecas da UFG (SIBI-UFG), under which the BDTD-UFG is subordinate, as well as with the students of the Programa de Pós-graducação em Comunicação da UFG( PPGCOM-UFG), in order to obtain data that would elucidate the question raised. This is a basic research, with an approach to the problem characterized as quali-quantitative, in which an interview, a questionnaire and an experimental analysis were carried out. It is concluded that the way the works deposited in the BDTD-UFG (only derivative and using natural language) does not facilitate the search, especially when it is refined by subject, which is a demotivating factor, causing users to stop use it to carry out your research.Item Arquitetura da informação no contexto de processo eletrônico digital: uma análise da usabilidade do site da prefeitura de Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-08-09) Oliveira, Sérgio Batista de; Oliveira, Lais Pereira de; Oliveira, Lais Pereira de; Ribeiro, Geisa Muller de CamposThis research aims to analyze the parameters of the information organization within the scope of Information Architecture (IA), on which axes facilitate the provision of services when using the digital electronic process website managed by Goiania City Hall. It also seeks to understand the notion of IA as applied in the literature of Library Science and Information Science, establish analytical parameters for website usability, verify the website's structure from an IA perspective, and compare the aspects of the information organization within the context of the Digital Electronic Process (PED) to assess informational usability. The methodology involves descriptive research of an applied nature, with a qualitative and documentary approach, incorporating a Systematic Literature Review and Content Analysis. As a result, it is noted that the aspects of the informational organization within the context of PED on the mentioned website have some areas that could be improved, particularly concerning to the organizational and navigational system, emphasizing the limitation of the research, the fact of being exclusively used on PED, regarding to the existence of other systems and structures on the above-mentioned website, which may be explored in future studies. In conclusion, the research identified positive elements regarding the usability of the information architecture, particularly concerning to the organizational and navigational system, labeling, and search features in the context of the digital electronic process. However, it suggests further studies and improvements on this topic to contribute to the enhancement of the usability of the portal. Additionally, expanding the research to analyze other portals is recommended, as the efficiency of using a system is crucial to achieve the user’s satisfaction, especially for systems offered by public organizations, such as the Electronic Information System (SEI) and the Digital Judicial Process System (PROJUDI), among others.Item Avaliação da usabilidade da Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da UFG(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-07) Santos, Anna Karollina Ferreira Silva; Carvalho, Lívia Ferreira de; Carvalho, Lívia Ferreira de; Jesus, Filipe Reis Dias de; Silva, Luciana Candida daThe UFG Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (UFG BDTD) was analyzed against the usability criteria defined in the literature. The research addresses the themes of usability, institutional repository, Open Access movement, on the perspectives of access, dissemination and retrieval of information, from the interface of the library in question. In the context of the movement of access and dissemination of academic production, the institutional repository was presented as a space for interaction and access to knowledge. The UFG BDTD was evaluated on the precepts of usability, through verification of efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction, according to ISO 9241-11 (2021), associated with heuristics. Regarding the methodological aspects, the research is configured in a qualitative exploratory classification with a case study structure. The evaluation of the UFG BDTD was necessary to identify problems in the search interface, in order to suggest corrections that can improve the issue of usability and the database interface. As a result, information retrieval inconsistency problems were identified; of confusion in the use of graphics; and difference with the National BDTD standard. Furthermore, in terms of usability, the interface meets the needs of authors/scientists. However, some disagreements were found in the attributes: helping users to recognize, diagnose and recover from errors; consistency and standards; error prevention; compatibility between the system and the real world; minimalist and aesthetic design; help and documentation.Item Biblioterapia infantil: contribuições da pesquisa científica para Biblioteconomia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-02-06) Wind, Thalita Biage; Cavalcanti, Larissa Andrade Batista; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Cavalcanti, Larissa Andrade Batista; Melo, Camila Alves de; Vieira, Sara da CruzInvestigates how studies on Bibliotherapy, applied to the child audience, are presented, both from a national and international perspective, and to what extent such studies may be linked to Library Science. It is a quantitative-qualitative, exploratory, and bibliographic research. Through a systematic literature review, data were collected using four national and four international databases. From the data collection, twenty-one studies of practical research were analyzed. Finally, it was possible to verify that children's bibliotherapy is manifesting in diverse ways, adapting to both more specific and broader groups of children, with the aim of providing support in particular emotional and behavioral issues. Additionally, it is observed that this process is adopted by a variety of professionals, including psychologists, nurses, pediatricians, librarians, specialized teachers, and educators.Item Censura em foco: o cerceamento da literatura na atualidade(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-01-18) Santana, Eliane Antunes; Melo, Camila Alves de; Melo, Camila Alves de; Santos, Andréa Pereira dosIt addresses book censorship in the Brazilian context, seeking to understand the new forms of censorship today. It carried out a check on the state of bibliographic production in the area of Library Science and Information Science on book censorship, noting that, in Brazil, scientific productions are centered on moments of greater repression and authoritarianism, both during the Vargas Era and in the period of the Military Dictatorship. There are few studies that discuss censorship today, which highlights the relevance of the study. The methods used for data collection and analysis were guided by the search for news related to censorship in electronic newspapers among data from 2010 to 2023, selecting one piece of news for each year in the interval. It was identified that the motivations are the most diverse and the nature of the restriction was carried out mainly for moral and political reasons. It highlights that restricting books can have a significant impact on education, limiting access to essential information for critical development and the formation of an informed society. We conclude that the restriction of books provides important lessons and reflections on society, freedom of expression and the challenges faced in preserving access to information.Item Estudo sobre o produto gerado pelo processo classificatório (notação classificatória) do material textual (impresso) de obras relacionadas ao assunto “cerrado” no Sistema de Bibliotecas da UFG(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-01-22) Bezerra, Carlos Henrique Andrade; Oliveira, Lais Pereira de; Oliveira, Lais Pereira de; Jesus, Filipe Reis Dias deInvestigates the structure and windows of use of Table 1e of the Universal Decimal Classification System, to analyze the works that have the subject “cerrado” in the UFG Library System, from the perspective of classification, through the classification notation available in the Sophia catalog-BC, thereby verifying the representativeness of the subject in the classification notation.It has a descriptive character and uses as a sample cataloged and indexed works with the theme “cerrado”, with an emphasis on printed textual material and has a qualitative and quantitative format as its approach. It is also characterized by documentary research, as it uses the Sophia's catalog for analysis. It demonstrates three categories of levels of information representation through classificatory notation, namely: Broadly Attends (for works that represented the cerrado facet in their notation); Partially Responds (for work that represented, at some level, the environment); Not applicable (for works that did not represent any level of environment or cerrado). Fits the entire printed collection with a “cerrado” subject filter into a category and evaluates the level of representation based on classification notations. It demonstrates a satisfactory level of representation of the environment and the cerrado in the notations, with few works without some degree of representation of this subject in their notations.Item Folksonomia e Web 2.0: uma análise do uso de folksonomia na plataforma Twitter, a partir das tags #UNIVERSIDADE #Ufg(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-01-30) Jesus, Libni Vitória Gramacho de; Oliveira, Lais Pereira de; Oliveira, Lais Pereira de; Ribeiro, Geisa Muller de CamposIt addresses the context of organizing and tagging information in the digital context. It aims to analyze the #Ufg and #University tags used in the context of Twitter. The methodology is descriptive, quantitative and documentary. The results show that there is a low level of effectiveness in the return of data, caused by internal issues in the functioning of the platform and the categorization process itself; and the limits to which it is subject. The conclusion is that, despite the effort to build efficient representations, there is still a dissonance between what is represented, what is returned and the platform itself.Item Infodemia: análise da produção de artigos científicos no Portal de Periódicos Capes(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-01-30) Maia, Maria Vitória Reges dos Santos; Ribeiro, Geisa Muller de Campos; Ribeiro, Geisa Muller de Campos; Jesus, Filipe Reis Dias deThe objective is to investigate the scenario of scientific production on infodemic at national and international levels to understand the phenomenon, based on a review of the Portal de Periódicos Capes database. To do so, a priori bibliographic review is conducted, focusing on a historical approach to the development of the information society and the evolution of information production over time, in order to contextualize the informational phenomena resulting from these processes. The intention is also to reflect on the definitions of disinformation, fake news, post-truth, and their relationships with the infodemic, identify the predominant institution and language, analyze the temporal evolution of research on the topic, observe the most productive journals and authors and the profile of authorship, verifying the publication areas, and reflect on the approaches to the topic through keywords. The research is characterized as exploratory and descriptive, with a quantitative approach. Bibliometric analysis methods are applied for data collection and quantification. The results show a concentration of scientific productions on the infodemic theme in different Brazilian institutions, through the institutional affiliation of the author. There is a higher frequency of publications in the areas of health, information, and communication. Furthermore, a broad relationship between the infodemic theme and Covid-19 is identified, due to the context in which the term was popularized. From the observations, it is concluded that the theme is transversal to the fields of information and communication and health.Item Inteligência artificial em bibliotecas: uma revisão sistemática(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-02-06) Freitas, Karine Silva; Ribeiro, Geisa Muller de Campos; Ribeiro, Geisa Muller de Campos; Rezende, Laura Vilela RodriguesThis research aims to analyze Brazilian scientific production on Artificial Intelligence, specifically on its application related to library services, via a systematic literature review. As specific objectives, we intend to verify the areas of information science and library science in which AI applications in libraries are being developed, understand the sub-areas of AI that are being developed in libraries, and point out the challenges of incorporating this emerging technology from the recovered works. The nature of the research is basic, in terms of objectives it is descriptive and exploratory, with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out in the databases indexed on CAPES portal and Brapci database. The highlighted area of AI application in libraries or information units is Scientific Production and Communication, whose impacts are on the flow of scientific information, infrastructures and ethical aspects for research production. The sub-area that stands out is the application of Artificial Intelligence in the educational field, where the focus is on the use of tools to assist the librarian in their work for the user experience.Item Papel pedagógico da pessoa bibliotecária para o letramento informacional: uma análise quantitativa de literatura nacional e internacional(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-08-28) Santos, Rayene Oliveira; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Santos, Andréa Pereira dos; Melo, Camila Alves deThis is a study whose objective is to analyze, from a quantitative, phenomenological, basic, descriptive, exploratory and bibliographical approach, scientific works from American countries, which highlight the contribution of the librarian in the promotion of Information literacy of children and young people in basic education in public and private schools. The issue addressed is: “how can the school librarian, exercising a pedagogical role, contribute to the promotion of information literacy?”. As for the justification of the question, it occurs due to the importance of: contributing socially and culturally, pointing out studies and evidence of positive actions by the librarian in the role of educator and in collaboration with the professor; to obtain updated data on this theme for studies in the area of library and information science. The methodological applications are of a descriptive and exploratory nature, using the quantitative method and bibliographical research. Data collection was carried out in three databases, following eight steps, with inclusion and exclusion criteria and specific descriptors for recovery. The results obtained cover the period from 1987 to 2021, and were partially satisfactory, since the objective was not fully achieved, however, the specific objectives were satisfactory. It is concluded that there was an evolution of the literature on the subject and the professional profile of the librarian, and that despite the small amount of scientific works retrieved for the research parameters, the works found met the interests, as they take into account the Society of information, recognize the importance of the librarian as an educator and mediator, highlight the collaboration with the teacher, in addition to the social and educational importance of the school library of quality in the teaching of Information Literacy.Item Tratamento da informação no ambiente acadêmico: organização dos planos de ensino da Faculdade de Enfermagem da UFG(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-08) Magalhães, Thálita Lissa Soares; Carvalho, Lívia Ferreira de; Carvalho, Lívia Ferreira de; Oliveira, Laís Pereira deIt approaches the treatment of information in the academic environment, focusing on the organization of the teaching plans of the Faculty of Nursing of the Federal University of Goiás, with the objective of diagnosing the way in which the organization of the teaching plans of the disciplines of the Faculty of Nursing of the University of Goiás is constituted. Universidade Federal de Goiás, in order to propose a methodology to catalog and index them in a database, aiming at retrieving the information in a precise way. Its theoretical support is in the areas of Information Organization; Knowledge Organization; Processes of Organization and Treatment of Information; Information Retrieval; Information Management and Document Management. It employs/uses three methodological procedures: case study, experimental research and field research. The results showed that when organizing the teaching plans, satisfactory results were obtained that met the coordination of undergraduate courses, as the organization system was designed to meet academic demands. The work concluded that the tools for organization facilitate the content retrieval process, contributing to the area of Librarianship and Information Science. The proposal can be applied to all undergraduate courses at UFG, allowing teaching plans to be easily retrieved when required by users.
