Item Uma abordagem analítica para detecção de pontos limites e de bifurcação(Ricardo Prado Abreu Reis, 2016-12) Silva, William Taylor Matias; Gutiérrez, María Paz Duque; Silva, Wellington Andrade daUsing an analytical this paper describes in detail the detection and classification of critical points in the primary equilibrium path of structural systems. The Total Lagrangian formulation is employed to describe the kinematics of a 2D bar element. With this formulation, the internal force vector and the tangent stiffness matrix including the geometric nonlinearity effects are obtained. An elastic linear constitutive model is assumed for the uniaxial stress-strain state. Such model uses the Green-Lagrange strain tensor and the second Piola-Kirchhoff axial stress tensor which are energetically conjugate tensors. As a study case, the article presents a statically inderminate plane truss discretized with three 2D bar elements. Finally, the geometrical and physical conditions for the coalescence between limit and bifurcation points are determined. The main contribution of this work is to demonstrate the need to better understanding the non linear phenomena. Such understanding is necessary for designing safer structural systems.Item Análise 2d e 3d da estabilidade da Barragem de Fundão(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-05-12) Souza, João Paulo Tavares; Moura, Nícolas Rodrigues; Gitirana Junior, Gilson de Farias NevesThe failure of the Fundão Dam, the largest disaster of its kind in the world, was studied by Morgenstern et al. (2016) using two-dimensional approaches. The carried out investigation did not point to mechanisms of slope instability as the causes of the disaster. However, the complex shape of the dam and its concave and convex regions were not originally considered due to limitations of the analysis tools employed. This paper presents two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) analyses that are more rigorous and well suited for the Fundão dam geometry. Slope stability analyses were accomplished using the General Limit Equilibrium Method of Slices and Columns (GLE) using the SVSLOPE software. Critical slip surfaces were searched in 2D and 3D, across the entire dam face. Drained shear strength parameters led to Factors of Safety that would indicate fairly stable conditions, with a lowest Factor of Safety of 1.744. Values close to 1.0 were obtained considering undrained conditions of the tailings, which are supposedly less representative of field conditions. The 3D factors of safety were very close to the 2D values, but with noticeably higher variations near the concave and convex regions. This leads to the conclusion that the dam shape near the setback region requires closer examination by means of 3D analyses that enable the identification of critical zones.Item Análise comparativa de redes hidrológicas geradas a partir de superfícies hidrologicamente consistentes(2014-12) Ribeiro, Hugo José; Ferreira, Nilson ClementinoOne of the biggest challenges concerning hydrological analyses is the morphometric characterization and delineation of the hydrographic network associated with a basin. Therefore, this study aimed at comparing the qualitative and quantitative of geomorphometic parameters extracted from hydrological networks produced from original and hydrologically consistent surfaces. At first, were elaborated two datasets were elaborated. The first, denominated original, organized from surfaces without any correction and the second, denominated corrected, derived from the hydrologically correct surfaces. Drainage maps were automatically extracted from each digital terrain model (DTM) and digital elevation model (DEM), before and after corrections for a posterior comparison between the estimated and the reference networks. Comparisons were made considering the 1:100.000scale. It was noticed that the distances between the networks were directly proportional to the spatial resolution of the surfaces data, except for GDEM, which even with spatial resolution of 30meters, presented inferior results than DEM SRTM with spatial resolution of 90meters. The corrected Topodata surface was less sensitive to changes, with an average distance (before and after corrections) of only 24.5 meters. The drainage, extracted from SRTM presented the worst unconformity,76 meters. Finally, the drainage extract from high-resolution DTMs presented similar results, with the beet adjustment for DTM produced from aerial photogrammetry.Item Análise da aplicação da ferramenta Lean Construction Assessment Tool (LCAT) em uma empresa construtora goiana(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-01-27) Amaral, Tatiana Gondim do; Zalaf, Felipe Schmaltz; Teixeira, Lara Gomes FleuryCompanies are investing in improvements in the quality of their product and executive process and in reducing losses and costs. The awakening on Lean Thinking and its application possibilities becomes important as a philosophy that can improve performance and reduce production waste. Lean construction has not yet been widely disseminated in Brazil, many companies that do not apply their practices or do not use them to their full potential. Given the above, the main goal of this work is to apply the Lean Construction Assessment Tool (LCAT), developed by Camargo Filho (2017) and, through this application, to diagnose the lean score of a construction company and to analyze if the change of managers between enterprises of the same company influences the lean level from the company. The research classification is qualitative-quantitative, applied, exploratory and case study. Through the application of the questionnaire in the chosen company, we noticed that there are several lean practices being applied. Not all practices were applied in the same way by managers, there was a divergence in 25% of the analyzed items, which shows the great influence that managers have on the lean level of the company. The company's lean score was 58%, which, according to Camargo Filho (2017), means that the company has an average level of lean deployment.Item Análise da eficiência de calçadas ecológicas como sistema de drenagem sustentável nos centros urbanos: estudo de caso no Parque Flamboyant, Goiânia – Goiás(2015-12) Santos, Layara de Paula Sousa; Cuba, Renata Medici Frayne; Leitão, Valéria de Sousa; Santos Neto, Agenor de SousaIncreasing urbanization and soil sealing are among the main factors that affect the flow of rainwater, thus increasingly frequent becomes the occurrence of floods and flooding. In this context the urban drainage is an essential function: to minimize the presence of movement of excess water, especially rain in improper places in urban areas. This research addresses the importance of use of sustainable drainage systems in order to reduce problems such as flooding and commitments of waterways. Thus, the overall objective is to investigate the environmental contribution of the ecological sidewalks in the Flamboyant Park region located in the urban area of Goiânia - Goiás. For data collection, were made library research, field surveys with photographic records, consultation with agencies Public and infiltration test conducted in the Park to check the efficiency of permeability of interlocking pavements. The results of the tests showed satisfactory values floors in view of waterproof locations. However, the transitory phases become a critical state for precast beams, since in these cases the temporary supports do not restrict the rotation and torsion in the elements, as in the definitive phases. As a result of this degree of liberty, the pieces may lose their equilibrium and shift laterally. Instability studies may be restricted to two main situations: the hanging element and the element over the elastic support. Given that normative recommendations, in general, have very simplistic safety parameters, in this paper, one design of a precast concrete beam is taken and its safety against lateral instability is evaluated according to two methods, one based on the equilibrium of forces in the rotated beam and the other on the determination of its critical load of lateral instability. These methods are compatibilized to the Brazilian standard indications and reevaluated. A sensitivity analysis is added to determine which variables have the greatest influence on the safety factors proposed by the methods. It is found that the safety indicators are reduced when compatibilization to national normatives is applied. Through the sensitivity analysis, it is noted that the use of overhangs during the transitory phases improves the safety levels.Item Análise da viabilidade da utilização da cinza de bagaço de cana-de-açúcar como substituição parcial do cimento portland(Ricardo Prado Abreu Reis, 2014-10) Lopes, Bárbara C.S.; Brito, Alexandre Faria Seixo de; Sarmento, Antover Panazzolo; Delalibera, Rodrigo GustavoThis paper examines the sugarcane bagasse ash use as supplementary material to Portland cement for the purpose of minimize the limestone removal to reduce emissions carbonic gas preserving natural deposits. The feasibility sugarcane bagasse ash use were analyzed. Through an analysis of results test of cylindrical concrete on 7, 14 and 28 days that showed a 10, 20 and 30 percent weight replacement by Portland cement. The reviewed about this cement and sugarcane bagasse were realized. After that, a experimental study with analysis were realized. Test of granulometry were made in every material that we used for the concrete production. Based on these results, it was concluded that the sugarcane bagasse ash use is feasible, since the water/cement and the mass percentage replaced are appropriate.Item Análise da vulnerabilidade natural da paisagem em relação aos diferentes níveis de ocupação da bacia hidrográfica do Rio Vermelho, estado de Goiás(2014-08) Vieira, Pedro Alves; Ferreira, Nilson Clementino; Ferreira Júnior, Laerte GuimarãesThe Rio Vermelho watershed, located in the Goiás State, shows a great geodiversity, with terrains ranging from the Arquean to the Holocene, in addition to a proeminent tectonic record. Likewise, throughout its occupation history, it has been impacted by a variety of surface and underground activities, which resulted in biodiversity impovereshment, as well as physical modifications, particularly progressive erosion processes and sediment accumulation, as a function of the dynamic incoming and outcoming of matter and energy from the natural system. In this work, based on the elaboration and analysis of an entropy map for the entire basin area (~ 11,000 km2), it was possible to identify areas more susceptible to morphogenetic processes and, therefore, more vulnerable to land use and occupation. As an example of such areas, are those near the basin delta, where entropy values are compatible with the diversity of land uses and interventions over the complex fluvial system around the main Rio Vermelho channel. In spite the need of further analysis, at more detailed scales, our results clearly demonstrate the potential of the landscape entropy as an important tool for the identification of areas with more potential energy available for the geomorphological work and, therefore, more vulnerable to occupation (i.e. subject to floods and landslides).Item Análise das reprovações discentes no curso de engenharia ambiental e sanitária da Universidade Federal de Goiás (EECA/UFG)(Ricardo Prado Abreu Reis, 2018-06) Hora, Karla Emmanuela Ribeiro; Mesquita, Gabriel Gade Martins; Gomes, Ronaldo BarrosFacing the social need to nurture better qualified professionals to deal with contemporary environmental issues and in accordance with the goals of the Decree Federal N° 6096 (BRASIL, 2007) for Federal Universities, which establishes a percentage of 90% in average completion rate of the undergraduate classroom, this research seeks to assess the profile of deprecations in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering (EAS) course at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). For both, a timeframe of seven semesters (2013-1 to 2016-1) to obtain the data of Deprecations in the disciplines offers this range of time, based on students and reports daily of class. Disciplines and periods of the course were categorized and analyzed by your percentage of deprecations. After analysis it was found that the Deprecations are significant The main contribution of this paper is, after identifying the profile of deprecations on EAS-UFG, to adopt specific measures aiming to reduce the number of deprecations, evaluate the efficiency of methodologies applied in each discipline on the part of the teacher, elaborate mechanisms of assistance and guidance to students seeking to prepare them for specific discipline.Item Análise de condições térmicas nos blocos didáticos da Universidade Federal de Goiás - regional Catalão(Ricardo Prado Abreu Reis, 2016-06) Borges, Débora Adiane; Paiva, Ed Carlo de Rosa; Sarmento, Antover Panazzolo; Resende, André Alves deThis study aimed to analyze the thermal conditions of the Education Center at the Federal University of Goiás, Regional Catalão. Thermal comfort was evaluated by ISO 7730 (ISO 2005) through of PMV and PPD indexes and the requirements of NR 17 (BRAZIL, 1978), while the thermal stress was evaluated by the WBGT maximum value according to NR 15 (BRAZIL, 1978 ) and NHO 06 (BRAZIL, 2002). Measurements were performed at classroom 301 of the Education Center 1 using a thermal stress meter to measure the WBGT and dry bulb temperature, wet bulb and globe, used to determine the effective temperature and PMV and PPD indexes with the help of programs Grapsi v. 5.1 and Ladesys v. 1.0. The classroom was considered uncomfortable for heat mainly in spring and summer, while in autumn and winter there were comfortable days to empty classroom, without to ensure that it remained comfortable in the classroom full of students. Possible solutions to the problem would be put solar protections in the left side of the Education Center I, forestation and air conditioners installation. The contributions of this work involved the analysis of thermal discomfort in an educational institution and the possible impacts on productivity, motivation for further research in the area and the citation of strategies to mitigate the thermal discomfort.Item Análise dinâmica não linear geométrica de treliças planas(Ricardo Prado Abreu Reis, 2017-04) Oliveira, Leandro Damas de; Silva, Wellington Andrade da; Silva, William Taylor Matias; Delalibera, Rodrigo GustavoThis paper deals with dynamic analysis of two dimensional trusses, where the effects of geometric nonlinearity in these structures is studied when subjected by dynamic loads. In this context, the formulation based on geometric nonlinear analysis that describes the behavior of trusses discretized by finite elements using the Corotational Method is developed. For solving nonlinear systems is used the Numerical Method of Newton-Raphson and for the time integration of these equations is used Newmark Method. Through the corotational axis is possible to separate the rigid body movements from deformational movements. To verify the accuracy of the formulation studied in the present work, examples with plane trusses usually employed in analyzes with large geometric non-linearities in the technical literature were made. In general, the studied formulation presented was efficient for the dynamic analysis of trusses with large geometric nonlinearities.Item Análise do conforto ambiental em salas de aula: comparação entre dados técnicos e a percepção do usuário(2012-03) Ochoa, Juliana Herlemann; Araújo, Daniel Lima; Sattler, Miguel AloysioThis paper deals with the on-site evaluation of indoor environmental comfort in classrooms of two buildings at the Federal University of Goiás, characterized by different architecture and construction techniques. This study aims to analyze these buildings in order to identify the influence of the construction techniques and physical conformation on environmental performance. The technical data were collected and analyzed according to the type of comfort. The measurements concerning visual comfort were undertaken around the time of the annual solstices and equinoxes. Indoor microclimatic data, i.e. air temperature and relative humidity, were collected over eleven months. A simplified soundscape characterization was performed with the aid of sound pressure levels, which were collected over a whole day, in the midst of daily activities. It was observed that although the buildings have similar solar orientation, the visual and thermal comfort in these buildings were quite different. In addition to the technical evaluations, questionnaires were also applied to the occupants of the classrooms in order to get their perception for each type of comfort. The comparison of the technical data and the occupants’ perception shows that the opinions of the occupants were not consistent with the technical results. A discrepancy was identified between the proposal of comfort zones adopted and the occupants’ comfort perception in those buildings.Item Análise evolutiva de processo erosivo acelerado em uma área urbana da cidade de Goiânia(2015-08) Silva, Max Gonçalves dos Santos e; Sanz Lobón, Germán; Ferreira, Nilson Clementino; Scalize, Paulo SérgioNowadays in Brazil exist one cities expansion, the deficiency in the design and spatial planning and rainfall characteristics, especially in huge urban centers, influence the erosion process. For this reason, this work has been researched the origin and evolution of a gully located in Goiânia (Goiás Brazil). Was made a multi-temporal analysis for the period 2002-2014 using Google-Earth and satellite images. The images have been edited and geoprocessed using software ArcGIS 10.1. It was found that the main factors that were responsible for the erosion were naturalized soil, inadequate spatial planning and layout of the road system.Item Análise experimental da resistência à flexão simples de vigas de aço tipo "I" compostas de perfis laminados dotadas de mendas soldadas(Ricardo Prado Abreu Reis, 2016-02-02) Borges, Rone Sergio Freitas; Gomes, Orlando FerreiraThis paper presents the experimental study of bearing capacity of bi supported by steel beams made of rolled section I of type W 250 x 22.3 ASTM A572 grade 50 profiles rolled parallel tabs with two axes of symmetry, being endowed with amendments with full penetration welds of type MIG (Metal Inert Gas). Seven beams were tested with a length of 3000 mm, with a reference beam. In the remaining six beams amendments were made in different positions varying the amount of amendments. Furthermore, it is a comparison with the behavior of beams with bolt seams studied by Pereira (2014), in which beams used with the same provisions of seams used in this work, but with ASTM A325 and screw diameter of 19 mm. All models were subjected to simple bending stress at break, in which the vertical displacements were measured relative displacements and specific torsional deformations steel. The links of beams resisted the simple bending tests, not being detected no break in welds and even the screws. The main contribution of this work was to show that the beams with welded and bolted connections with the specifications described in this paper can be used as structural elements, as well resisted the efforts required.Item Análise experimental de pilares de concreto armado, com carga excêntrica, reforçados com chumbadores e concreto autoadensável (CAA)(Ricardo Prado Abreu Reis, 2014-02-21) Virgens, Jeovan Pereira das; Gomes, Ronaldo Barros; Trautwein, Leandro MoutaItem Análise experimental de pilares de concreto armado, com carga excêntrica, reforçados com chumbadores e concreto autoadensável (CAA)(Ricardo Prado Abreu Reis, 2014-02) Virgens, Jeovan Pereira das; Gomes, Ronaldo Barros; Trautwein, Leandro MoutaItem Análise experimental de pilares de concreto armado, reforçados com concreto auto adensável e conectores(Ricardo Prado Abreu Reis, 2014-04) Ferreira, Diego Borja; Gomes, Ronaldo Barros; Carvalho, Alessandra LucianoStudying strengthening and rehabilitation in reinforced concrete structures is an ever-growing necessity in civil construction. Flaws during design, execution, use, and maintenance, as well as the use of poor quality construction materials and a structure's functional change may all lead to this necessity. Strengthening a given structure is justified whenever it becomes necessary to increase its bearing capacity. The small number of studies which analyse the behaviour of strengthened structures makes it difficult to establish parameters that may contribute to designing such projects. This research assessed the behaviour of reinforced concrete columns under compression and one-way eccentricity, with an initial section of 120 mm x 250 mm and height of 2000 mm, strengthened in the compressed area with a 35 mm layer of self-compacting concrete. Connector screws were used as interaction reinforcement. The main variables were the connectors' position and steel rate. Strengthened columns showed an increase in rupture load due to the increase of connectors' rate. One of the problems detected was the concrete reinforcement layer spalling near the rupture load, whose solution requires further research. There was also a reduction in columns' horizontal displacements, caused by a decrease in ductility. These results show the effectiveness of the strengthening technique employed.Item Análise experimental de pilares de concreto armado, Reforçados com concreto auto adensável e conectores(Ricardo Prado Abreu Reis, 2014-05-16) Ferreira, Diego Borja; Gomes, Ronaldo Barros; Carvalho, Alessandra LucianoStudying strengthening and rehabilitation in reinforced concrete structures is an ever-growing necessity in civil construction. Although most of the construction companies are in the initial stage of these practices and tools implementation, the development of efficient mechanisms to evaluate this process is vital, such as the Lean Construction Assessment Tool (LCAT). This evaluation method is utilized in this research to evaluate the lean implementation stage in six construction companies in Goiânia. From the obtained data, the lean implementation stage was calculated using arithmetic averages, weighted averages and averages based in the Fuzzy Inference System. This work has as main goal to analyze the results from the Lean Diagnosis obtained using the tool and evaluate the potentialities that each average owns. It’s also a goal to evaluate the management process in the studied companies, highlighting failures in the system and how they can be improved. The averages obtained present small variations, such as speed of procurement, other variables interferences and the specialists’ analysis, being possible to conclude about different potentialities in each’s use. From this study, it was possible to establish a diagnosis based in the interaction between the academic and professional environment.Item Análise multitemporal do uso e cobertura do solo da bacia hidrográfica do rio Meia Ponte(Universidade de Federal de Goiás, 2021-12-13) Borges, Vinícius Silva; Oliveira, Wellington Nunes deThe Meia Ponte Watershed – BHMP is located in the southern portion of the State of Goiás, with an area of 14,521.8 km², equivalent to 4% of the State's area. Its main sub-basins are: João Leite River, Santa Maria and Campanha, Dourados and Caldas Rivers. It has a predominance of pasture areas in the central and extreme north regions, while agriculture dominates the northern and southern portions. The general objective of this study was to assess changes in land use and land cover in the Meia Ponte Watershed between 1988 and 2018 using data from the MapBiomas Platform. To obtain coverage and land use maps, different processes were carried out, the main ones being the acquisition of data on the platform, processing, and data extraction for the study area in the chosen time frame. The results showed a reduction in green areas and an increase in areas related to human activities and occupation, which are: agriculture and livestock, urban infrastructure, and water buses. The Permanent Protection Areas - APP’s have suffered a reduction in native vegetation and an increase in human activities, especially agriculture and livestock. BHMP restoration is extremely important for the public supply of the Metropolitan Region of Goiânia, both for its quality and quantity.
