Resumo
The aim of this survey was to investigate lhe presence of rotavirus in faeces of
diarrheic dogs in the city of Goiânia, State of Goiás, Brazil. One hundred thirty seven
fecal samples collected from dogs of different ages was used on the survey. The
polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) method was used to detect the presence of
the virai RNA. It was not detect in any sample the presence of the rotavirus.
