Resumo

This work is located within the social research. So, this research was developed from the mandatory curriculum subject - Supervised Internship II which aims to experience the pedagogical practice. From the observation of physical education classes in early childhood education at a school of municipal education in the city of Goiânia, Goiás along the bibliographic thematic study, through the teaching practice, this research aimed to overcome the shortcomings observed in classes of Physical education teacher regent of early childhood education, these were: the accommodation of Physical education in only a psychomotor perspective, not establishing relation of this area of knowledge with an understanding of the body culture content, the lack of a pedagogical sequence of the contents, the shy dialogue between teacher and children. From this study, it was possible to understand better about the historical, social, political and cultural context of the relationship between children's education and physical education, and know the reality of this relationship in a school institution. Thus, by performing the pedagogical practice as an intern and researcher, reflection on the work that can be done by physical education on the first level of basic education, which suggested changes to fill the "gaps" checked the observations the classes of Physical education regent teacher, which led to the results in considerations about physical education and early childhood education and demystification about the possibility of teaching of physical education in this educational level only psychomotor bias, considering the subjects involved as historical and holders of knowledge.
