Resumo
With the current visibility of comics in the media, this work is shown how this type of reading can influence, assist and contribute to the teaching-learning process within the classrooms in Brazil. In this sense, our goal is to demonstrate the use of comics in pedagogical practices in Brazilian classrooms. In order to reach this goal a quantitative and qualitative research was done, based on a bibliographical survey. The choice for a bibliographic survey was motivated by the fact that this survey can be used in the future by people interested in the subject. The results obtained from the research in several repositories have proved to be satisfactory within the proposed theme, showing that the use of comics within the classroom as pedagogical material can be an excellent tool for the teaching-learning process in several areas of the knowledge, not only within the educational area.
