Resumo
Brasília was built to be the New Capital, with the saga of its construction, the city and its architecture grows and develops full of symbolisms, historical and affective, despite its recent history. For architecture and urbanism, Brasilia is unique, making it join the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites. But how to appropriate and belong to a city with such a recent history through sketches? The aim of this article is to present a script for the documentation and appreciation of the heritage in Brasília through the practice of the Urban Sketchers Brasília / DF group. In this way, the survey of the referential theoretical framework and the documentation and appreciation of the heritage in Brasília through the group, presentation of results, discussions and conclusion are proceeded. It is observed that the design group has contributed to the appropriation of the city and the creation of the notion of belonging, which allows us to conclude that the objective was achieved and that due to the constancy and performance of the group, its designers were able to explore
Brasília and the District Federal, appropriating the city through the apparent documentation of the sketches, getting to know the city more.
