Resumo
The communication, cinema and politic evoke for them, each with its own
characteristics, the power production and dissemination of symbolic values. The narratives are
part of the human condition, capable of transmitting values and important symbols in the
construction of identity and representation in various contexts. This monograph, through
structural analysis of narrative, presented as objective to identify film elements present in
cinematographic Lula, the son of Brazil (Lula, o filho do Brasil) can contribute to the
association mythological aspects of the protagonist, with the intention of evaluating the
construction of image a political hero in the audiovisual language.
