Resumo
This study is about the information professional updating who handles legal collections, to recycle periodically, leading some precise, quick and quality information to meet the users’ needs. Thus, we conducted qualitative research and literature review, in order to contribute to studies on the subject and follow the transformations that have occurred with the web use for research and legal updates inside and outside the country. The research in the Library of the Court of the State of Goiás brought users as operators of law, civil servants, contest students, as well as students and the broader community. As a result of exploratory research, it concluded that the library needs to update the legal acquis and implement the web search for users. We concluded that the library requires a number of improvements, whether physical or equipment and due to results emphasizes how important the TJ-GO library would rely on a professional librarian service, which does not occur at the moment.
