Resumo
The present monography is is a proposal of a debate about interactivity
and passivity and its relation to the television and its watcher, from a historical
analysis of television and its development on the social-cultural field, in Brazil
and around the world. To reach that, the pathway of television is set, from the
Londonian pioneer BBC to the modern AllTV, from the first live shows in black
and white single-channeled screens to the advent of digital TV, wich purpose is
to be interactive, with several channels, that allows the viewer to directly
influence on the programs.
