Item Se movendo por território: os caminhos traçados pela comunidade de Sangradouro Grande para a garantia do território(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2015-07-13) Acypreste, Izadora Pereira; Lima, Roberto Cunha Alves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1622829460229904; Lima, Roberto Cunha Alves de; Alencar, Edna Ferreira; Herbetta, Alexandre FerraThe mortality and scarcity of fish, the decrease in the volume of river water, recreational fishing, lack of access to the river and the discharge of industrial sewage into the river are some of the threats frequently denounced by artisanal fishermen in the Upper Middle São Francisco. Considering that access to natural resources is essential for the reproduction of life for fishermen and fisherwomen, I understand the problems they denounce as a threat to their way of life. The anguish provoked by such accusations led me to reflect on them and understand that they are, above all, territorial issues. In this way, I believe that the right to territory and the ways to fight for that territory are fundamental and urgent discussions. Thus, this work, the result of a master's research with the riverside population of Sangradouro Grande, located in the municipality of Januária (MG), intends to discuss the ways in which this community has been seeking to defend its territory. Something that happens, as I have seen, from its articulations with social movements and its processes of identity affirmation. As the relationship with the territory is constituted from work practices on the land, in the river and also from the historical relationship with the place, I sought to understand the territory claimed by the group. While dedicating myself to these surveys, I realized that there was a multiplicity of identities being affirmed and that it was necessary to take them all into account, as they had close relations with the territory claimed by the group. Among the identities announced by them were that of fisherman, vazanteiro, peasant, rural worker and also quilombola. The territory claimed by the group is based on the fact that they carry out activities that go beyond fishing itself. In addition to the river, for example, they need the banks of the river to plant their ebb, and they also need the upper part to make clearing and harvest wood for the construction of boats. As well as the multiplicity of identities, there was also a multiplicity of alternatives through which the group could organize itself and fight for the guarantee of the territory. As the process of affirming these identities, in the case of the residents of Sangradouro Grande, establishes relationships with different groups and institutions in the state, from this field experience it was possible to perceive the relationship between the struggle for rights, political organization and affirmation of identities. It is from this perception that this work is built. His aim is to show the relationship between rights, politics and identity.Item Ciranda na arte, construindo performances, afetos e liminaridades. Experiências arte/educativas na rede pública do Estado de Goiás (2009-2016)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-10-08) Alcantara, Luz Marina de; Camargo, Robson Corrêa de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9964594962008164; Camargo , Robson Corrêa de; Barbosa , Ana Mae; Koudela , Ingrid Dormien; Rizzi , Maria Christina; Reinato , Eduardo JoséThis study analyzes the performances of Ciranda da Arte Center of Study and Research, an institution of the State of Goiás, with no similar at the national level, founded on July 15th, 2005. Ciranda aims to develop a process of continuing education in art, focusing on artistic production, research and training of art/educators. Ciranda looks for updating and deepening knowledge that reverberates in the quality of art teaching in the system of state public school and the aesthetic education of society in general (PPP 2015). Therefore, we examine the historical path of art teaching in the public network of Goiás developed under the intervention of Ciranda da Arte, historically considering the eleven years before its creation and the eleven years that followed (1994-2016). As a theoretical framework, the performances were produced according to the concepts of affectivity and significant learning developed by the French philosopher and psychologist Henri Wallon (1879-1962), and also the American philosopher John Dewey (1859-1952). From the cultural performance perspective, the current study tries to understand the relational game of the ciranda performances as processes of structure, anti-structure and liminalities, concepts developed by Victor Turner (1920-1983) in his book The Ritual Process. Structure and Anti-structure (Lewis H. Morgan Lectures, 1966). I also adopted the sequence of artistic performance as it was developed by Richard Schechner (1934) for the analysis of the collective and individual art exhibitions of the full-time state schools in the cities of Anápolis, Goiânia, Inhumas and Palmeiras de Goiás.Item Um estudo sobre o olhar dos agentes de segurança pública e assistencial do Estado de Goiás sobre o desaparecimento na infância e juventude(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-06-22) Alchuffi, Flávia Martins; Oliveira, Dijaci David; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9145111011143886; Oliveira, Dijaci David; Bungenstab, Gabriel Carvalho; Queiroz, Valéria MarciaThis work aims to analyze the application and developments of “Law 11,259 / 2015” known as the “Law of Immediate Search” in the State of Goiás. Aiming to understand the look of the public security and assistance system of the State of Goiás on the disappearance in childhood and youth. For this, the information contained in the police report was used to trace the profile of children and adolescents who disappear in the State. In order to identify who are these children and adolescents who tend to disappear in the State of Goiás. In addition, in-depth interviews with public security and assistance agents were added. In order to capture your perceptions about the law of Immediate search in its execution and developments. The first part of the work contains the theoretical methodological framework on disappearances. That addresses the theoretical concepts about the disappearance of people in general; the specificities and typologies of the disappearances of children and adolescents; the disappearances caused by escapes from home and the Law of Immediate Search. Then, in the methodological chapter, it is reported how the research was carried out; the quantitative and qualitative techniques used; research objectives and the method that guided the research. Finally, in the third chapter the results of the fieldwork are presented.Item A crise internacional de 2008 e a integração regional: os efeitos e as estratégias adotadas no Mercosul e na União Europeia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-08-02) Almeida Filho, Marcelo Marques de; Botelho, João Carlos Amoroso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5318293368816272; Botelho, João Carlos Amoroso; Durães, Telma Ferreira do Nascimento; Pietrafesa, Pedro Araújo; Lucena, Andréa Freire deThis study aims to analyze the impacts of the economic crisis of 2008 in the MERCOSUR and the EU until 2013 and set out the main economic strategies adopted by the two integration schemes to combat the crisis. The effects and strategies adopted by South Americans Brazil and Argentina and Europeans Germany and Greece will also be assessed, as the decisions are not unanimous in the processes and each country has sought different solutions internally, changing the reflects of the crisis according to the case. The study will weave an overview about what are the international economic crisis and how they affect integration schemes. Considering that international regimes and studies on cooperation influence the integration, the analysis of these fit into explanations of what are international economic crises. The hypothesis is that MERCOSUR and EU retract as the main effect of the economic crisis of 2008, fitting with the theoretic expectation that integration processes reduces economic transactions and limit political retract and institutional agreements in times of during economic crises. Meanwhile, the reaction of the two largest economies of MERCOSUR and the process as a whole is contradictory, as Argentina and Brazil rose protectionism among them, at the same time that the scheme has worked to include more members and open up new consumer markets. In the EU, nor the countries were able to reach a consensus on anti-crisis measures and, therefore, the recession persists. Aiming to test the hypotheses, the study use a qualitative methodology of analysis and promote a historical reconstitution of the formation of the integration processes and the relationships between them. In theoretical terms, both neofunctionalism and liberal intergovernmentalism provide contributions to identify patterns of behavior adopted by the two schemes in relation to crises.Item Plínio Marcos: do texto à tela(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-05-15) Almeida, Alcione Gomes de; Camargo, Robson Corrêa de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9964594962008164; Camargo, Robson Corrêa de; Abdala Júnior, Roberto; Mari, Marcelo; Moura, Paulo Vieira de; Leão, Raimundo Matos deThis paper introduces the renowned author Plínio Marcos focusing on themes of interest such as culture, performance, and cultural performances. The introduction aims to provide a concise yet consistent approach to his life and career, thus discussing his influence on Brazilian culture over the decades and nowadays. The discussion initially considers the temporal framework, and remarks emerge regarding the analysis’ corpus. Plínio's theatrical success attracted filmmakers, leading to adaptations of his plays, short stories, and scripts into movies, including Navalha na carne (1970, 1997), Dois perdidos numa noite suja (1971, 2003), Nenê Bandalho (1971), A rainha diaba (1974), Barra pesada (1977), Barrela: escola de crimes (1994), Querô (2006). The primary purpose of this paper is to systematically analyze the cinematographic corpus in chronological order, prioritizing the adaptations of Plínio’s theatrical plays due to their role in the dramatist’s career. This approach facilitates the equilibrium of this extensive work. When it comes to the Plinian universe, it is essential to observe the social role a character plays; their origins; the relationships built; the dialogues’ linguistic selection; the environment where the plot evolves; the progress of the conflict. Accordingly, there are differences between the films and the original text - suppression, complementation, and update, with the Brazilian society and its period characteristics during filming as a horizon, in addition to the Brazilian film industry, which impacts the production, promotion, and reception. A case in point is the CivilMilitary Dictatorship (1964-1985), which, among other authoritarian policies, implemented violent restrictions on society, the Arts, artists, and other professionals in the field. The results of this investigation corroborate with other authors: the singularity, relevance, and power of Plínio Marcos in Brazilian culture in any period. The Santista author strongly opposed the suppression of the Arts and freedom of speech during the Military regime. He was at risk for isolation and became a prominent resistance figure even after political liberalization, without ever soothing his ideas and dissenting voice. His legacy’s endurance and relevance for contemporary society is a consensus. The theoretical base of Mikhail Bakhtin (1988, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2019, 2020) is essential for the effective development of film analysis, considering the ideas provide density for the adaptation’s study and, therefore, viable possibilities to observe and comprehend cinematographic language. When applying the Bakhtinian repertoire to the films, several concepts are valuable to filmmaking characteristics, the stance of the creators, researchers, and the public, as well as the themes explored, expanding beyond an analytical and critical examination. Thus, the analysis of the corpus is primarily supported by: otherness; the self/other; responsible act; non-alibi; the ethical and the aesthetic; the world of theory; the world of culture; dialogism; responsive understanding; discourse genres; theoreticism (critique of the objectification of historicity that constitutes life); refraction; polyphony; ideology; chronotope (involves spatial and temporal relations, originates from the Greek words crónos, meaning time, and tópos, meaning space).Item Linha de frente na luta contra a COVID-19: narrativas dos profissionais de saúde(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-08-17) Almeida, Flávio Tolêdo de; Silva, Joana Aparecida Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2026902199057983; Silva, Joana Aparecida Fernandes; Collaço, Janine Helfst Leicht; Medeiros, Marcelo; Santos, Selma Cristina dosThe pandemic of fear, stigma and suffering of health professionals from two health units in Aparecida de Goiânia, aimed to analyze and extract from the narratives of health professionals what are the feelings experienced by them on the front line in the fight against Covid-19 during the first and second wave. For this extraction it was necessary the immersion in two health services with distinct care profiles, being the first one an Emergency Care Unit - UPA Flamboyant linked to the urgency and emergency network of Aparecida de Goiânia, gateway for suspected and/or confirmed cases for Covid-19, and the second one Epidemiological Surveillance - EV linked to the outpatient network, with minimal passable contact with possibly contaminated patients. I work in both environments reported above, and I know the profile of their service dynamics and care. In UPA Flamboyant I am in the front line in the confrontation with Covid-19 since the first suspected case that entered this unit. I was able to follow during the first two waves, March 2020 to June 2021, the unfolding of the care provided by the multi-professional team to these patients, I could see the first conflicts generated by fear, uncertainty, and ignorance of the virus. In epidemiological surveillance, I was also present when the first Covid-19 notification forms arrived in this unit, and I witnessed the fear of health professionals and administrative staff to take the forms and be contaminated, a fear that was shared by all, adding to the uncertainties that were also present, evidenced by the hesitation to take the forms without using gloves. The complexity of situations experienced during the immersion in the field sometimes blurred the boundaries between researcher and researched, the constant taking off and putting on of the lab coat allowed me to evolve with each immersion. The subtlety in perceiving myself as the "other"broadened my view of what the health-disease process is, explaining that it goes far beyond the biomedical model. To think anthropologically about this health-disease model is very expensive for those who are trained only in the biomedical model, because they will have to overcome countless barriers that will arise using this new lens. Twenty-one interlocutors were interviewed, and of these seven had not been contaminated with the Coronavirus by the time we left the field on March 6, 2021. The seven uncontaminated interlocutors were five from the UPA Flamboyant and two from the Epidemiological Surveillance. The fieldwork revealed that even in the face of an invisible evil that caused fear, stigmatization and uncertainty, the continuity of the assistance provided by health professionals, subtly was muffling and/or eliminating these feelings routinizing Covid-19.Item Desenhar para conhecer: experimentações como fissuras epistêmicas na antropologia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-08-28) Almeida, Katianne de Sousa; Ferreira, Glauco Batista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2193871294419921; Ferreira, Glauco Batista; Bruno, Fabiana; Pinheiro, Patrícia dos Santos; Pires, Ema Cláudia Ribeiro; Triana, Bruna Nunes da CostaThe path to constructing a drawn thesis is winding, like any other organic element; it develops gradually. Through conversations with colleagues, professors, and research interlocutors, relationships were intertwined, and they also modified the way I initially thought about the research and the relationship between anthropology and drawing. Just as my drawing followed this branched process of understanding what it would mean to experiment in Anthropology. In two notebooks (notebook 01: drawing concepts and notebook 02: drawing ethnographies) that grow into five brochures, I share the production of thought, to experiment with various languages within the structure of constructing scientific thought, containing drawings, photographs, and poems, since graphic productions expanded along the way. The interest of the research was to highlight drawing as a possible path for ethnographic production, in addition to highlighting it as a pedagogical resource for anthropological training, within the academic disciplinary structure at the university. As I developed the idea of concept drawing, I constructed a graphic narrative about my process as a black woman in graduate school that is fundamentally about articulating anthropological theories and their fissures in the contemporary world. When researching the teaching of Anthropology through drawing, that is, doing an Anthropology of Anthropology, connections, and epistemic ruptures were established between writing and drawing in the various ways of producing knowledge in AnthropologyItem Movências, encantarias e retomadas: uma natnografia sobre o corte e a cura dos Kariú Kariri no Maranhão(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-10-30) Alves, Lidiane da Conceição; Pechincha, Monica Thereza Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7816009438312510; Pechincha, Monica Thereza Soares; Nascimento, Rita Gomes do; Anaquiri, Mirna Kambeba Omágua-Yetê; Almeida, Emerson Rubens Mesquita; Mainardi, CamilaAedzé eerãkuara kietse utsohó ay bó dõ métsohó, samy ko tsebuhö bó ayby adjé kuá ay doibáhén tsohoá, ay ery, ma odeihó ninho, tedzy, de, maridzá, tsebuhö,bukémé kó teudiokié ayby ewóá ninho ma dziwichi, kó dõ tedzy, mariarcas hikié ay ery tsohó, ninho Kariú Kariri ayby Maranhão. Firstly, it is necessary to built a theorical model that be able to explain the question of people’s migration in some important moments of the Brazilian history. Secondly, it is necessary to study the occupation s process of Goiás, analysing the several points of expansion of the frontiers in the state: they have in common the fact of them be expansion’s mechanisms of processes situated in dynamic centres of the country. Each on of these processes is particularly analysed, in your specification and adequation to the theorical model proposed. Finally, is mad a quick retrospective about the historical trajectory of Goiânia, and the immigrants arrival, since the Goiânia s building until the 90 s of the 20th century analysing important question like the beginning of the migrations to Goiânia city, and the great growth of the city due to these migrations.Item Políticas públicas para a juventude: uma análise da implementação do ProJovem Urbano em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2015-05-29) Alves, Sandra Regina; Lameirão, Camila Romero; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1401479784897625; Lameirão, Camila Romero; Saddi, Fabiana Cunha; Sofiati, Flávio Munhoz; Bezerra, Heloísa DiasThis research aims to understand the implementation process of the ProJovem Urbano (Programa Nacional de Inclusão de Jovens – the National Program of Youth Inclusion) in the city of Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil. In order to reach this objective, a mapping of the Program was realized since its original version in 2005, going by its reformulation in 2008, until 2012, the last year of execution of ProJovem Urbano in Goiânia. To analyse a public policy requires a fine perception of the political, economic and social country's configuration, so that this three fields will guide the explanation of these policies' impact on the young and the society. Thus, the dynamics evolved at the moment of implementation, its institutional spread, its legal stand and the State's action towards the public policies by the concepts of federalism, decentralization and Welfare State, are relevant elements to understand the matter. Brazil's 1988 Constitution was a turning point regarding the public policies decentralization, so that the three government levels started working in cooperation to provide the policies and programs to citizens. Finally, despite being contrasting perspectives, the research favoured the top-down and bottom-up analysis models, for supplying the inspiration in different analytical moments of the Program by means of a methods triangulationItem Luto e ritos de passagem em tempos de Covid-19(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-06-27) Andrade, José Nilton Alves de; Santos, Nádia Maria Weber; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3929583037339642; Santos, Nádia Maria Weber; Amaral, Roberto Antônio Penedo do; Kushnir, Beatriz; Camargo, Robson Corrêa deThe present master's thesis analyzes how changes occurred in the funeral ritual and in the rites that compose it, during the process of experiencing and elaborating mourning in the context of COVID-19. To this end, authors of culturais performances such as Schechner (1985), Turner (2013), Gennep (2011) are used, as well the philosopher Cassirer (2009). As it is understood that there has been a shift from face to-face wakes to sharing experiences on social networks due to the restrictive sanitary measures imposed during the pandemic, the netnographic method by Kozinets (2014) was chosen here, which investigates the reaction of newspaper readers to the newsworthiness of the growing number of deaths during the pandemic period and the socialization of experiences in virtual memorials created by the newspapers themselves. As a corpus for research, news items posted on the website of the newspapers O Popular, Folha de São Paulo and O Globo were chosen, which denote a recreation of the rites that make up the funeral ritual. As it is understood that there has been a shift from in-person wakes to sharing experiences on social networks due to restrictive health measures imposed during the pandemic, the netnographic method of Kozinets (2014) was chosen here, which investigates the reaction of newspaper readers to the newsworthiness of the growing number of deaths during the pandemic period and the socialization of experiences in virtual memorials created by the newspapers themselves. From the collection of netnographic data, interdisciplinary analyzes were developed and interpreted of these contents from the literature belonging to the theoretical framework of Cultural Performances. As a result, it was noted that even with the attempt to adapt the rites that precede and implement the burial for social networks, the absence of a staging and close experience, with contact physical, within religious perspectives, makes acceptance difficult and prevents cycles from being closed and transitions made in the way expected.Item Entrelinhas do patrimônio: memórias de gerações na Praça Cívica em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-09-27) Anjos, Robson Vieira dos; Lima Filho, Manuel Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9114125597206149; Lima Filho, Manuel Ferreira; Caballero, Indira Nahomi Viana; Tamaso, Izabela MariaThis paper aims to reflect on the patrimony discourses used in the process of requalification of the Civic Square in Goiânia (Go). To this end, it uses narratives presented by actors who witnessed transformations that the public space has undergone in recent years, especially since 2003 when the Iphan (Institute of National Historical and Artistic Patrimony) approved the Dumping Dossier of the Architectural Collection and Urban Art Deco of Goiânia, consisting of a set of 22 public buildings and monuments, considered one of the most significant in Brazil. The ethnographic narrative occurs mainly through the memories of Mr. Joaquim Santana, and also of his son Márcio Carvalho, who established a kiosk where he worked and lived for over five decades. Among the elements that make up this research is the place (the kiosk), the memories, narratives and the unfolding of the patrimonial policies.Item Tex, um mundo de sensibilidades e imaginários(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-03-10) Antunes, Aline Ferreira; Christino, Daniel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1395742383165403; Santos, Nádia Maria Weber; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3929583037339642; Santos, Nádia Maria Weber; Christino, Daniel; Abdala Júnior, Roberto; Gomes, Ivan Lima; Beneduzi, Luis FernandoThis PhD research is the result of accumulated years of studies since my History graduation. The source and the research area remained the same: the cultural production of Comic Book magazines dedicated to the most long-lived Italian character in Western: Tex Willer - produced by Giovanni Luigi Bonelli (arguments and scripts) and Aurelio Galleppini (drawing), since 1948 in Milan, Italy. The central theme of this research is focused on readings of Tex fans in the light of Cultural Performances, understood here as an area of intersection between many fields of study. In this sense, it is necessary to dialogue with authors of Historiography and Communication. The methodology was based on a qualitative research, theoretical bibliographic reviews on comic books and Tex, as well as a case study of TEX magazines and also fan letters, cosplays made at meetings dedicated exclusively to the character. In addition, postings on social networks dedicated to the character such as Facebook and Instagram were also used as sources. The main question discussed on the text is about how does a cowboy produced in comics in Italy arrive in Brazil (reception) and dialogue with other cultural products of his time, in this case Western Hollywood films and Western Spaghetti? In this sense, the main objective was to understand TEX's reception in Brazil with a focus on fan cosplays, analyzing the performativity and sensitivity of these fans who dress up in the character of fumetti and who express their opinions and passions via internet. Such research contributed to a closer approximation of the Texian world, Brazilian Tex fans and how this community organizes itself through social networks. It is the result of an interdisciplinary training, moving between History and Cultural Performances, with a source of research in itself that is also interdisciplinary and hybrid. In this research, I propose to explore your reflections on the theme of justice, specifically, I want to understand how the concept of shared political responsibility, developed by her, becomes central to the reduction of structural injustices. To this end, I make a conceptual analysis of Young’s reflections on the themes of justice/injustice, recognition, democracy and political responsibility. In this process I analyze several concepts that Young elaborated to: make a critique of the distributive paradigm of justice; situate democracy as a means to promote justice; and devise a way to consider the unintentional actions of individuals on the theme of justice. I consider as research source her three main books: Justice and the Politics of Difference (1990), Inclusion and Democracy (2002), and Responsibility for Justice (2011) and other articles related to the topics covered. It was possible to identify that Young’s thought has many contributions to the theme of justice, but there are also some underdeveloped aspects. Young understands that justice must be grounded in Habermas’s ethics of communicative action, not in the notion of social contract as Rawls does. She suggests that we should broaden the scope of justice beyond distributive issues to consider other types of relationships that also give rise to injustices, such as division of labor, decision-making processes, and culture. Young is more concerned with identifying processes of injustice that can be resolved than with devising a perfectly just society. It follows that she does not have a clear and systematized concept of what she understands for justice. For her we must consider that a situation is unfair when social groups, in detriment of the structural position they occupy, suffer domination or oppression. As a result, injustice to Young is structural. Democracy is placed by the philosopher as the central way to promote justice, which when does not work well can contribute to injustice by keeping certain groups excluded. For this reason, Young reviews the conception of deliberative democracy to make it more inclusive of marginalized social groups. She proposes to broaden the mechanisms of communication, review the notion of representation and reflect on governance exercised at the local and global levels. In this discussion, Young suggests that we should push democracy across borders. Finally, to consider how unintended individual actions link to unfair structural social processes, Young consider the level of structural action of individuals rather than the interactional level. At the structural level people contribute to unfair processes through everyday habits and practices, so their actions and choices must be subject to some kind of judgment - political responsibility. For this reason, Young was concerned with defining the kind of responsibility we should give individuals for injustice, as their actions are being disregarded by theories of justice, although they are fundamental to making the world less unfair.Item Corpos dissonantes: próteses, performances e imaginário(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-02-16) Bandeira, Ana Paula Neres de Santana; Dalla Déa, Vanessa Helena Santana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4747115499551611; Dalla Déa, Vanessa Helena Santana; Bordini, Andréia de Lima; Costa, Vanderlei Balbino da; Lima, Marilini Dorneles de; Christino, DanielThe movement for more social inclusion has brought in creased visibility to people with disabilities in various everyday contexts. Some disabilities, such as intellectual and sensory impairments, may go unnoticed, while physical disabilities, being more visible, draw attention and challenge cultural norms about the perfect body. The presence of these dissonant bodies using prosthetics or assistive technologies often elicits reactions and questions, highlighting the complexity of perceptions regarding bodily diversity and constructing a whole repertoire that shapes the imagination of both people with and without disabilities. This thesis explores the construction of this imagination through representations of the bodies of individuals with physical disabilities in artistic, sports, and social performances. The research emphasizes technological advancements in prosthetics and assistive technologies, challenging conventional conceptions about the lives of these individuals. Inspired by a music video by artist Viktoria Modesta and a performance at the 2016 Paralympics, the thesis examines how these representations impact the collective imagination. The methodology includes studies of cultural performances, interviews with different groups (individuals with and without disabilities, artists, and athletes with disabilities), and analyses of prosthetized bodies. Cultural performance studies, based on Turner and Schechner, elucidate the construction of imagination in everyday interactions and in artistic and sports events, categorizing ethical, aesthetic, and scientific dimensions interpreted through both the canonical and dissonant perspectives on people with disabilities. Dialogue with Turner reveals the social barriers faced by these individuals, while Schechner's approach highlights the presence of performance in sports and the arts. Through a content analysis of the interviews conducted, the work examines the relationship between bodies and prosthetics, identifying them as elements that influence collective perception and the formation of stigmas and social norms. Le Breton's sociological approach highlights the body as a social, cultural, and symbolic phenomenon. Authors such as Thomson, Goffman, and Malu Fontes contribute to understanding human corporeality and its symbolic representation in society. The conclusion emphasizes the persistence of prejudiced and stigmatizing attitudes, underscoring the importance of active listening to understand the diversity of imaginaries about the body with a disability and promoting inclusive narratives to build a more just and equal society.Item Crueldade e poesia: manifestações performáticas (in-de) Antonin Artaud e Manoel de Barros(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-02-08) Barbara, Rodrigo Peixoto; Dias, Luciene de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7270892768281076; Dias, Luciene de Oliveira; Leal, Cristyane Batista; Satler, Lara Lima; Pascali, Maria Julia; Figueiredo, Valéria Maria Chaves deEverything is body! One who writes, does it with the body, a body work. One who reads, does it with the body, the body work of someone. Above all, this anti-Thesis is an encounter with the body (corpus) of life, the result of my experience with the Cruelty by Antonin Artaud and the Poetry by Manoel de Barros as well as the resonance/vibrations from this experience, in my body. Therefore, I present a corpography that: • Reflects the cruelty and the poetry as performative manifestations (in-by) Artaud and Manoel de Barros. In other words, what is firstly revealed inside, ‘in’, and then ‘by’, outside oneself and finally projected into the collective. The word manifestation is acquired as a personal revelation and personal-collective, in terms of taking a stand in and for life. Moreover, the concept of performance implies an artistic, anarchic, transgressive, subversive, freeing and revolutionary expression which ends up changing the reality. • Proposes a friendship between Artaud and Manoel de Barros (Poetic Cruelty, Cruel Poetry), considering the existential issues and the similar perspectives regarding life, art, social structure and the urgency of and for freedom.Item Brasil, Arábia Saudita e a "correção de rumo": a construção da relação bilateral entre brasileiros e sauditas durante governo Geisel (1974-1979)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-11-25) Barcelos, Luana de Melo; Patti, Carlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5828258601090620; Patti, Carlo; Roriz, João Henrique Ribeiro; Alarcon, DanilloBefore the consequences caused by OPEC member countries resulted in the first oil shock, in 1973, Brazil had began a diplomatic rapprochement with the Middle East. Within the history of Brazil's international relations, the year 1973 is assigned, therefore, as the starting point for the pro-Arab political phase. Diplomatic and consular representations were formed thereafter, and diplomatic ties were strengthened. Brazilian foreign policy has undergone changes, mainly due to the change in management. This paper sought to detail, specifically, the construction of the diplomatic and commercial relationship between Brazil and Saudi Arabia during the Geisel government (1974-1979). Therefore, the objective of the research is to identify the reasons that led Brazil to approach diplomatically and commercially Saudi Arabia in the years 1973 to 1979. In order to make sense of this bilateral relationship, the following question arises: How did Brazil approach diplomatically and commercially from Saudi Arabia in the Geisel Government (1974-1979)? To analyze this bilateral relationship, the research was methodologically based on the development of the historical method, so that there was an analysis of primary sources - through journalistic texts, official documents and telegrams - and secondary sources, mainly through articles , books and dissertations that had the historical theme of the Geisel government.Item Capacidade de saúde e cidadania: convergências empíricas e teóricas entre qualidade da democracia e saúde pública na América Latina (2000-2019)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-09-29) Barretos, Maria Luiza Pereira; Botelho, João Carlos Amoroso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5318293368816272; Botelho, João Carlos Amoroso; Saddi, Fabiana da Cunha; Okado, Lucas Toshiaki ArchangeloThe study assesses the effect that democracies, of varying levels of quality, have on public health in Latin America between 2000 and 2019. Public health is portrayed based on Ruger's (2009) conceptualization of health capacity in States of Justice. Health capacity, human flourishing so that individuals can select their ways of life and valuable actions, becomes feasible in regimes that allow public participation and the treatment of health as a human right. To determine the possible relationship between quality of democracy and (capacity for) health, correlation tests and analysis of variance are applied, with complementary tests to aggregate indicators related to the variables. studied. The independent variable is the Participatory Democracy Index of the Varieties of Democracy (V-DEM) project, and the dependent variables, infant mortality and life expectancy rates. The main finding is a strong association between quality of democracy and public health. On a scale of 0 to 1, democracies of a quality greater than 0.4 have a positive impact on public health, especially when there is greater diffusion of universal social welfare policies. In addition, the results from the analysis of variance demonstrate the difficulty with this type of statistical test for the treated elements.Item Uma vida sem sentido? uma abordagem sobre a incidência de suicídios em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-09-09) Barros, Luiz Gustavo Lins; Oliveira, Dijaci David de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9145111011143886; Oliveira, Dijaci David de; Nascimento, Pedro Francisco Guedes do; Durães, Telma Ferreira NascimentoSince man began his experience in the community, violence has always been present. And suicide, as an expression of this violence, began to permeate people's imagination and daily life. Although each human being has their motivations for such an act, understanding all the characteristics of suicide can reveal about the fundamental values of a society, since it affects both the individual and his social segment. With countless cases in Brazil and in the world today, suicide has turned into a silent epidemic, configuring a serious public health problem, and in Goiânia it is no different. Thus, it is imperative to study the topic in question, with all its theoretical nuances, seeking an analysis of the statistical data attributed by public health authorities. The main objective of this study is to try to identify the suicide profile in the capital of the State of Goiás, collecting and cataloging sociodemographic data of victims of self-extermination, investigating how this information can influence suicidal ideation and the formation of risk factors, among others. For this purpose, data from the Mortality Information System (SIM), from the Department of Analysis and Data Tabulation of the Unified Health System (DATASUS), from the Ministry of Health. The analyzed period comprises the years 2009 to 2019. The data were analyzed in terms of simple absolute (absolute numbers) and relative (proportions, ratios and rates) frequencies. The 10th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) was also adopted, in the grouping of external causes, with the denomination of “voluntary self-harm”, with codes X60 to X84. Thus, the following sociodemographic information was observed: age, gender, education level, race / color and methods used to commit self-extermination. For ethical reasons, the victims' identities were preserved. In a general context, there was a gradual increase in the years evaluated, starting from 102 deaths in 2009 and reaching 142 deaths in 2019, totaling 1155 suicides in the studied period, being 841 males and 314 females.
