Item Identidades de filhos ouvintes quando os pais são surdos:uma abordagem sociológica sobre o processo de socialização(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2011-05-03) ANDRADE, Pablo Regis; ALMEIDA NETO, Luiz Mello de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1951913717385648This dissertation will discuss the construction of the Identity of hearing children of deaf parents, reflecting on family, socialization and deafness. Firstly we aim to understand who are the family members of those interviewed and how they see their parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents generally considered as part of these groups, a reference for the process of acquisition and the learning of values, beliefs and social rules. Starting with the idea of mediation between individuals and society, we ask what the link would be that allows individuals to see themselves as a family. Contextualized in each timeframes we perceive that family ties are developed within a perspective of loyalty. In the cases researched, the vision that aunts, uncles and grandparents form part of the group that has a direct relation to the need to reach hearing children of deaf parents to communicate orally. Therefore, this method of communication becomes one of the aspects discussed in the second chapter: the language that the children use daily Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) and Portuguese. As a product of a family context, we show how they learn to communicate orally and in sign language as practical sense. These linguistic acquisitions allow those interviewed to mediate between deaf parents and chat we call the outside world, a kind of interpretating responsibility acquired in childhood. After looking at these two questions we will read about how the idea of border identity is dealt with in literature and will analyse parts of interviews that bring to our discussion elements of the way of seeing the world from this conception of being between . In this way, narrative memories about childhood and teenage years of the seven interviewees are used. We seek to understand how they become individuals with their own identities, hearing children of deaf parents, and what is contingent in the process of construction of this way of being and seeing the world. Finally we conclude that identity acquires valve from discourse for people who live between two different worlds.Item Homossexualidades e negritudes: identidades e afetividades no entre lugar(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2009-08-22) ARANTES, José Estevão Rocha; ALMEIDA NETO, Luiz Mello de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1951913717385648To comprehend the social identities in the contemporary world demands a shift of gaze to the intersectionalities that structure both subjectivity and political positioning of social actors. In this work,we seek to learn through talk, discourses, practice and positioning of men-that at the same time perceive themselves as gay and black-their identity make up.The feeling of existing in a common ground,a frontier, are constitutive of the form of how these individuals become aware of themselves in the relations of power that organize life in society.Their sexual-affective involvements, their perception of prejudice in relation to their sexual practices that are not hegemonic, added to elements of brazilian racism, are elements that characterize their experiences and promote sociability.Item O gênero na escola: a educação física em questão.(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2008-08-21) SANTOS, Jeferson Moreira do; ALMEIDA NETO, Luiz Mello de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1951913717385648Schools are important places for the formation of identities, as students stay there four hours per day, 200 days per year, for many years of their lives, during childhood, adolescence and adulthood. In this environment, physical education is distinguished as the discipline which works systematically with the elements of the corporal culture. During the accomplishment of this dissertation, I perceived that the way by which teachers and students conceive the objectives of the lessons of physical education influences directly in the way gender questions are shown in pedagogical practice. When the conceptions of the classes are merely linked to the aspect of sports teaching, working with emphasis only in physical valences - force and agility -, the participation and the learning of female students and of those students who do not correspond to the standards of hegemonic masculinity is decreased. Therefore, the reorganization of the classes seems important, regarding the diversification of the contents of lessons and the way by which they are taught, in order to promote the learning of all the students, instead of the non-critical reproduction of physical activities that can be carried through in any social space, disarticulated from the values that guide the pedagogical proposal of the school. At last, but not less important, the research demonstrated that female students feel a sort of fear during the classes and that they would prefer that the students were separated by their biological gender in these classes, as a way of guaranteeing their physical integrity. However, this does not mean that this separation is the only way (neither it is the most desirable) to guarantee the participation and the learning of the female students, as these objectives can be reached by a gender equity orientated performance of the professors, including the physical education ones.
