Item Caracterização físico-química e produtiva de frutos e sementes e propagação de Eugenia calycina Camb. (Myrtaceae)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-01-29) Borges, Kelly Cristiene de Freitas; Borges, Jácomo Divino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6694312790302062; Borges, Jácomo Divino; Souza, Eli Regina Barboza de; Venturoli, Fábio; Didonet, Agostinho Dirceu; Pacheco, Abilio RodrigueMany native fruit species of the Cerrado biome have great food potential, however, in this respect, still very poorly studied. This research aimed to evaluate the physical-chemical and productive characteristics of fruits and seeds and propagation of Surinam Eugenia calycina, the Private Natural Heritage Reserve (RPPN) Hunt Club and Itororó Fishing, municipality of Uberlândia- GO. The readings to obtain the phenological data were always performed in the second ten days of each month. Biometrics fruit and seeds were carried out in 50 selected fruit materials collected at four separate locations in the area of RPPN. It was obtained length (mm) and width (mm) of the fruits and seeds using a digital caliper, and made to count the number of seeds per fruit. Seed germination test consisted of the evaluation of various types of substrates (A-screen, B-blotting; C-germitest, D-vermiculite; E-sand), in the School of Agronomy Seed Laboratory, Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences Goiatuba, municipality of Goiatuba, GO, Brazil. The seedling emergence test was installed in a greenhouse, adopting a randomized block design (RBD), with four treatments, corresponding to different locations of collections of fruits (1, 2, 3 and 4), with five repetitions totaling 20 plots. The test evaluation of vegetative propagation, adopted the factorial experimental design with three types of cuttings: basal, middle and apical, and six different times of soaking of the stakes in the Indole-butiric acid: 0.5 second, 15, 30, 45 and 60 seconds), with three replications and 10 cuttings per repetition. The evaluations were performed at 60 days after installation of the experiment. It was collected 300 g of fruit randomly at each location, as identified by the physical characteristics of the soil, considering the relationship clay/sands these locations. The fruit samples were sent to the Center for Food Research (CPA) for chemical analysis. All data were subjected to statistical tests as the characteristics of the collected data. Regarding the phenophases, E. calycina features flowering August to January, with the highest peak bloom, 75% and 100% in September and October respectively the fruits have widths ranging from 6 to 9 mm in different collection sites, and lengths of 14 to 30 mm; while the width of the seeds ranged from 5 to 7 mm and a length of 10 to 14 mm. Collected seeds in E. plant calycina established in soils with different proportions of clay and sand, do not differ in their potential to spread. The different immersion times and the IBA solution at a concentration of 6,000 mg L-¹ did not induce the rooting of cuttings of Surinam E. calycina. The fruits have nutritional importance by the presence of significant levels of minerals that contribute to human health, such as potassium, iron, manganese, magnesium and high percentage of Brix. Regarding the results of this study, it is recommended to carry out further research in relation to the species E. calycina urgently because its natural population has declined apace.Item Indução de deficiências nutricionais em mudas de mogno africano (Khaya ivorensis A. Chev.)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-03-08) Corcioli, Graciella; Pereira, Elainy Botelho Carvalho; Pereira, Ailton Vitor; Borges, Jácomo Divino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6694312790302062; Godoi, Emiliano Lôbo de; Brasil, Eliana Paula Fernandes; Chaves Filho, Jales Teixeira; Pereira, Ailton Vitor; Borges, Jácomo DivinoThe african mahogany (Khaya ivorensis) is a high value forest essence in the international trade and of great potential to replace the Brazilian mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla), which is one of the most valuable commercial species in the world, but presents serious difficulties in its cultivation. Currently, little is known about the nutritional requirements of the african mahogany. In this sense, this study aimed to characterize and induce the symptoms of the deficiencies of macro nutriens (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur) and micro nutrients (iron, boron, copper, manganese, molybdenum and zinc) based on the diagnosis by the visual method and by means of chemical analysis on seedlings of african mahogany. In order to do that, two experiments were conducted with a nutritive solution with the following treatments: T1-Complete Solution; T2-Complete solution, with the omission of nitrogen; T3-complete solution, with the omission of phosphorus; T4-complete solution, with the omission of potassium, T5-complete solution, with the omission of calcium; T6-complete solution, with the omission of magnesium-T7 complete solution, with the omission of sulfur; T8-complete solution, with the omission of iron; T9-complete solution, with the omission of boron, T10-complete solution, with the omission of copper; T11-complete solution, with the omission of manganese; T12-complete solution, with the omission of zinc; T13-complete solution, with the omission of molybdenum and T14-Witness (deionized water). In Experiment 1 the evaluations were carried from the emergence of seedlings obtained by seed that were put to germinate in coarse washed sand and irrigated with deionized water until sixty days after sowing, starting then to receive daily 200 ml of nutrient solution. The experimental design used was completely randomized with fourteen treatments and ten replications. The dendrological data and the visual symptoms were described and photographed every fifteen days from the initial stage until they became well defined at 210 days. In Experiment 2 the evaluations were carried from commercial seedlings ready for the field planting, which were removed from the 180 cm3 tubes and transferred to the plastic tubes with capacity for 4.8 L, containing coarse washed sand as substrate. These seedlings remained in the greenhouse for fifteen days, just being irrigated with deionized water. After this period the process of rustification of the seedlings was begun to subsequently start up the daily irrigation with 200 ml of nutrient solution, described in the Experiment 1. The experimental design used was completely randomized with fourteen treatments and ten replications. The dendrological data and the visual symptoms were described and photographed every fifteen days from the initial stage until they became well defined, at 220 days. At forty days after the start of the irrigation with nutrient solutions, the first visual symptoms begin to revel, with easy visualization and characterization. In Experiment 1 isolated omissions of macronutrients and micronutrients respective induces deficiency symptoms associated with smaller contents (except Cu and Mg), but only the absence of N, P, Fe, Cu and B significantly affect plant development. In Experiment 2 the plants from seedlings ready for planting the development is affected only by the omission of N in the nutrient solution, showing deficiency symptoms and smaller contents of the element. The omissions of the other nutrients reaches their induce mild symptoms of nutritional deficiency typical and lower foliar Ca and Fe only.Item Floresta estacional secundária: aspectos da dinâmica e manejo no bioma Cerrado(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-10-14) Ferreira, Fernanda Gomes; Venturoli, Fábio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3977914284672829; Borges, Jácomo Divino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6694312790302062; Roitman, Iris; Machado, Evandro Luiz Mendonça; Chagas, Matheus Peres; Calil, Francine Neves; Borges, Jácomo DivinoThis study had as objective to evaluate diametric growth aspects and the dynamics in a Semideciduous seasonal forest, twelve years after the conduction of a silvicultural management. The main objects were: to analyze the arboureous community density during the period that ranges from 2003 to 2015, after silvicultural interventions (Chapter 1); to develop Markov models and test its predictive capacity for different silvicultural managements (Chapter 2). The experiment was carried out in 2003, in Fazenda Vagafogo, Pirenópolis, Goiás. Experimental area was divided in four blocks, and, inside each one, three plots were allocated (25 30 m – 750 m 2), with the following treatments: Treatment 1 – control (T1), without interventions; Treatment 2 – all woody species were removed at a distance of one meter, considering the wanted trees (T2); Treatment 3 – T2 was repeated, joining to large lianas removal all over the plot (T3). Inside the plots, in 2003, 2007 and 2015, all the individuals (DBH > 3 cm) were measured. The community dynamics, considering the period ranging from 2003 to 2015, was described according to mortality taxes, recruitment, basal area gain and loss, net change rate to the number of individuals and basal area. Collected data were also used to develop Markov models that describe the seasonal forest dynamics of the diameter distribution after silvicultural treatments application (GT1, GT2, and GT3). Treatments did not negatively affect long term the community dynamics, because, in all treatments, recruitment was higher than mortality. Growth taxes and annual periodic increment (API) between 2003- 2007 and 2007-2015 analysis allow us to conclude that silvicultural treatments lost its effect, because taxes drop considerably in the second period compared to the first one. Models GT1, GT2 and GT3 were tested for an 8 year period (two consecutive projections), and all of them were able to efficiently simulate the diametric structure. This way, Markov chain is an efficient tool to project seasonal deciduous forests dynamics upon silvicultural interventions, which strengths its importance as a tool for forest management.
