Item O trabalho do profissional de psicologia na atuação em cuidados paliativos: uma análise da morte e do morrer(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-10-25) Amaral, Jacqueline Andrade; Roure, Susie Amâncio Gonçalves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2796807492405078; Roure, Susie Amâncio Gonçalves de; Resende, Maria do Rosário Silva; Costa Neto, Sebastião Benício daThe following study addresses the work of psychologists in Palliative Care, who experience, alongside both patients and relatives, moments of finitude in situations that have death as one of the possible outcomes. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted psychologists’ roles within multiprofessional teams which were based on a transdisciplinary approach. However, it is noted that the theories and competences which handle death and the process of dying are yet to be included in the national curricular directives of Psychology university programs, which leads to questioning whether Psychology professionals are actually well-prepared to work in the aforementioned field. This research focuses on the work of psychologists who handle death and the process of dying within Palliative Care teams. To reach the objective established, the experiences of psychologists in multiprofissional palliative care teams, when working with patients and relatives, were taken into account, emphasizing the competences and abilities required for interventions in situations which include death and the process of dying. The methodological course was of qualitative research, using narrative interviews as the method of choice. This allowed the apprehension of significant and subjective data regarding historical and sociocultural aspects, which provided a privileged space for speech and elaboration of life stories. In this study, three persons were interviewed, all three having worked in the Palliative Care field for at least two years. Results confirmed that psychologists’ knowledge regarding death and the process of dying is scarce, and that, to work in the palliative care field, Psychology professionals require theoretical knowledge. Considering said results, the present research indicates a need for inclusion of death and the process of dying in Psychology university programs, which might contribute to forming a holistic view of humanity.Item O laço contorna o vazio: um estudo de caso sobre a experiência subjetiva materna no contexto da pandemia da covid-19(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-05-29) Andrade, Débora Damacena de; Roure, Susie Amâncio Gonçalves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2796807492405078; Roure, Susie Amâncio Gonçalves de; Lima, Priscilla Melo Ribeiro de; Lima, Priscilla Melo Ribeiro deThe present study aimed to analyze, from a psychoanalytic perspective and through the narrative of the construction of her motherhood, the subjective experience of a woman who became a mother in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. We know that the pandemic scenario has caused important psychosocial transformations around the world. In the specific context of motherhood, the pandemic experience brought unique challenges for women who gave birth during this period. Therefore, to achieve the proposed objective, we based the research on psychoanalytic theory. The bond between mother and baby is fundamental for the individual's psychological development, and the experience of motherhood is marked by unconscious conflicts and fantasies related to identification, narcissism, and sexuality. During the pandemic, the experience of motherhood was even more challenging, as mothers had to face a series of difficulties, including fear of contagion, difficulty accessing medical care, and lack of social and emotional support. To deepen the study of this experience, we used the case study as a research method and narrative interviews as a way of apprehending the maternal subjective experience. In the analyzed case, the interviewee shows the ambivalences of motherhood; however, she finds in her experience with her son, in the mother-baby bond, a contour for a void resulting from her life history and the pandemic context. With this study, we were able to conclude that the social and emotional effects of the Covid-19 pandemic involved the potentiation of conflicts and issues present in the participant's life history for her experience with motherhood. Therefore, we highlight the importance that psychological intervention had on the interviewee's experience, who mentioned several times how this process of confronting her insecurities and anxieties in a welcoming space was important to elaborate her conflicts.Item História da psicologia brasileira: saberes psicológicos no século XIX(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-11-28) Araújo, Danielly Machado Alves; Rodrigues, Anderson de Brito; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3108480037296614; Rodrigues, Anderson de Brito; Rodrigues, Divino de Jesus da Silva; Mata, Alba Cristhiane Santana daThe history of Brazilian psychology is a field of study with infinite possibilities, we have different time frames, theoretical and methodological perspectives that present us with an entire universe to be explored. This dissertation aims to explore one of these possibilities: the history of psychological knowledge based on travelers' reports published in the 19th century. Psychological knowledge is understood as that produced and disseminated in everyday life in the form of theories or practices, above all, that which, after the conception of psychology as a science, became its object. The sources researched are travel diaries of men who came to Brazil in the 19th century, whose missions were to record and detail information about the country and bring knowledge to the authorities about the various aspects of our territory, including geography, botany, economy, culture and population health, for example. This is a bibliographic study based on historicaldialectical materialism, whose works researched are authored by Auguste de Saint-Hillaire, George Gardner and Johann Baptist Emanuel Pohl. The works researched consist of major contributions to the history of brazilian psychology, mainly to the history of psychology in Goiás, providing rich discussion about how our people understood the psyche, human behavior and society. Critical reading and analysis culminated the identification and mapping of the following categories: “Customs: popular culture and ways of living life in Brazil”, “Religious diversity: one land, many Brazils”, “Knowledge about behavior: learning, education and control”, “Affects and temperament: emotions, character and self-knowledge”. The discussion allowed the understanding that psychological knowledge precedes scientific psychology and is closely related to popular wisdom, philosophy, medicine and education.Item Neoliberalismo e a fetichização de diplomas de psicologia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-10-30) Barbosa, Maria Clara da Silva; Santos, Lívia Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5256547603541759; Santos, Lívia Gomes dos; Roure, Susie Amâncio Gonçalves de; Tavares, Rosana CarneiroThe present study sought to investigate the impacts of the fetishization of Higher Education diplomas in the training of Psychology professionals. Our main hypothesis is that the increase in the emergence of Psychology courses in the city of Goiânia-Go occurred as a result of the fetishization of diplomas, mainly from the 2000s onwards, due to the advance of neoliberalism in the country. For this purpose, the National Registry of Higher Education Courses and Institutions, e-Mec and the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) were used to collect data on the number of vacancies and courses offered per year. In fact, the increase in psychology courses in the city between 2000 and 2010 is significant, also showing a growing increase from 2020, due to factors such as the Covid-19 pandemic and the psychopathologization of life. For a better understanding of the theme addressed in the study, we will go through the history of universities in Brazil, the history of neoliberalism, the definition of merchandise and merchandise fetish and, finally, the fetishization of diplomas as the main consequence of the commodification of education, a remarkable phenomenon from the 1990’s. Finally, we point out that the relationship between the fetishization of Higher Education diplomas in Psychology, the growing number of courses in private universities and colleges and the rise of neoliberalism in Brazil from the 1990s onwards research and corroborates the initial hypothesis that the accelerated growth of the political and ideological system was directly related to the fetishization of psychology degrees.Item Concepções e práticas acerca de queixa escolar em artigos da revista da associação brasileira de psicologia escolar e educacional(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-03-14) Cavalcante, Wellita de Oliveira; Rodrigues, Anderson de Brito; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3108480037296614; Rodrigues, Anderson de Brito; Rodrigues, Divino de Jesus da Silva; Lacerda Júnior, FernandoLinked to the Graduate Program in Psychology at the Federal University of Goiás in the line of Historical, Theoretical and Political Bases of Psychology, the present research, of a bibliographical and historical nature, has as main objective to investigate the conceptions and practices about the school complaint in articles from the Journal of the Brazilian Association of School and Educational Psychology. This research is theoretically based on Historical-Cultural Psychology in a critical perspective of School and Educational Psychology. At first, it aimed to understand the process of emergence and development of the field of school and educational psychology in Brazil. Subsequently, he focused on the phenomenon of school complaints, trying to understand the concepts and practices about school complaints present in the articles. To carry out the research, 20 articles were selected from the descriptors 'school complaints' and 'school complaints'. After the exhaustive work of description, dialogues with authors in the area and analysis of published articles, three categories of analysis were arrived at: conceptions about school complaints, theoretical foundations about school complaints and action in face of the complaint. In the final analysis, it was possible to see that the predominant conception among the psychologists and educators who participated in the research remains linked to the medical and clinical model, which has as its characteristics the individualizing, reductionist, pathologizing and psychologizing look at school complaints. Regarding a more critical conception of school complaints, the analyzes showed that there are discourses that refer to this perspective and that the authors of the works read, for the most part, are based on HistoricalCultural Psychology and on dialectical historical materialism. The analyzes led us to the understanding that the conception that professionals have about school complaints will affect their performance in relation to it.Item Discurso de ódio, constituição subjetiva e alteridade: reflexões a partir da psicanálise(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-11-22) Feitoza, Sarah Dáleth Andrade Lemes; Roure, Susie Amâncio Gonçalves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2796807492405078; Roure, Susie Amancio Gonçalves de; Nunes, Tiago Ribeiro; R e s e n d e, Maria do Rosario SilvaThe general objective of the research is to discuss hate speech, understanding it through subjective constitution and social ties, based on Lacanian psychoanalysis, considering the field of otherness. The specific objectives are: first, to establish the psychoanalytic conception of the subject; subsequently, to examine the field of otherness as a founding element of the subject's constitution; and finally, to elaborate on what can be understood about hate speech, since, from a Lacanian perspective, discourse is what integrates the subject into the social bond. Each of the specific objectives constitutes a chapter of the dissertation. This research is configured as a theoretical inquiry in psychoanalysis. In this sense, it is a qualitative research, fundamentally based on bibliographic procedures and exploratory regarding its objectives. It aims to utilize the theoretical assumptions of Lacanian psychoanalysis, wherein the subject is constituted as an effect of language, at the intersection between the unconscious and drives. The unconscious, structured as a language, operates through metaphors and metonymies, with representations invested libidinally, highlighting the topical, economic, and dynamic nature of the unconscious. This subject is not constituted apart from language, culture, and the social environment, and therefore, it can be categorically stated that there is no subjective constitution outside the field of otherness. Civilization, however, is founded on a considerable amount of drive renunciation, which generates malaise. Around this malaise, discourses are created to contain it. These discourses establish social bonds. However, due to the brutal mode of capitalism in which we live today, this logic has been subverted, and discourses no longer generate social bonds; instead, they undermine them. In this sense, hate speech seems to contain some similarity to the structure of the Discourse of Markets, as postulated by LacanItem Por uma clínica Ética em Espinosa: Uma investigação do corpo e das forças(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-11-22) Gonçalves, Tarini Suzan Maciel; Muylaert, Marília Aparecida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2043066584926043; Hur, Domenico Uhng; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9021644568209077; Hur , Domenico Uhng; Amorim, Ana Karenina de Melo Arraes; assoli , TiagoThe aim of this research is to map the concept of the body, the composition between bodies, and the role of ethics in Spinoza's philosophy to discuss how these concepts can function as tools for clinical practices. With the intention of questioning conventional approaches in psychology, which often adopt normative practices in the clinic, we turn to Spinoza's philosophy to oppose the Cartesian dualistic thinking. In our view, the latter contributes to the maintenance of normalization and categorization processes frequently employed in these practices. To achieve this goal, a theoretical study was initially conducted, primarily based on Deleuze's interpretations of Spinoza. Our intention is to replace conventional concepts with those we identify as more effective in promoting a healthy and active life. Based on these terms, we map the clinical practice through a field diary, seeking to elucidate how these concepts provide support in the relationship between the psychologist and the client during the clinical encounter. The method employed throughout the research process, encompassing both theoretical study and the field diary and clinical practice, is the cartography. Ethical clinical practice aims to enhance real desire and understand the dynamics of composition that shape our existence. The results obtained reveal the effectiveness of these Spinozist concepts in the dynamic between the psychologist and the client during the clinical encounter. The notion of the body provides a solid guide for understanding the individual, while the logic of composition between bodies expands the understanding of the interaction between nature and the world. This transformative understanding highlights the importance of recognizing and valuing our affective experiences as authentic guides towards understanding ourselves.Item Transexualidades: entre máquinas de opressão e possibilidades de resistência(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-06-21) Lima, Ana Júlia Ramos de; Carvalho, Cintia de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9363122106655201; Hur, Domenico Uhng; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9021644568209077; Hur, Domenico Uhng; Luiz, George Moraes de; Santos, Livia Gomes dosThe objective of the research is to investigate the place of psi disciplinary knowledge as a mechanism for the governmentality of trans bodies and possible practices of reinvention. As a method, we carried out a bibliographic cartography that is based on Michel Foucault's work on norms and governmentality, as well as on literature that discusses body, gender, sex and sexuality and on some concepts from Schizoanalysis. As a result, we found that psi sciences carry with them the possibilities of both reproducing the norm, categorizing and marginalizing trans bodies, as well as containing the possibility of promoting implicated discussions and being the cradle of the production of sensitive listening. Current literature already produces a set of statements by authors such as Preciado, Senna, Pelúcio, Jesus and others, who abandon a perspective based on medical-biological discourses and construct an epistemology of transsexualities. To produce new practices, we need to break with the silent pacts of whiteness and cisgenderness, name cisgenderness as a point of discussion and break with stereotypical conceptions that marginalize, rebinarize and normalize trans identities.Item A intensificação do sofrimento psíquico na pandemia: implicações para o processo de medicalização e da produção de subjetividade no campo da atenção básica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-09-27) Lima, Wany Teixeira; Cassoli, Tiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3605178273280112; Cassoli, Tiago; Oliveira Neto, Pedro Adalberto Gomes de; Zanetti, Fernando LuizThe aim of this paper was to analyze the discourses and practices of the medical device in the pandemic facing mental health demands in the context of primary care. The research was based on documents such as scientific articles, dissertations, theses and other references published in databases, and the analysis was carried out using Foucault's genealogical historical perspective. In this research, two main sections have been developed, which were divided into two phases: 1) contemporary: mapping the normalizing function of the medical device in the pandemic in its disciplinary and control practices; 2) genealogical section between the 18th and 19th centuries: mapping and contextualizing the historical forces that cross the device in question to see how its developments converge in lines of knowledge, power and subjectivation in the contemporary. As a result, we found normalizing practices under the binary of normal versus pathological, presenting themselves as a phenomenon of medicalization, problematizing the place of psychology in relation to the processes presented, understanding new paradigms about scientific truth and the effects resulting from it.Item O autista na clínica psicanalítica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-07-04) Lins , João Barretto de Acioly; Santos, Altair José dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2734116381590215; Santos, Altair José dos; França, Valdelice Nascimento de; Burgarelli, Cristovao GiovaniIn thiswork, I investigatethecontributionsofpsychoanalysistounderstandingclinical management ofautisticpeople. We start from the theoretical framework of historical-cultural psychology and feminism with a historical-dialectical materialist foundation. We develop the construction of femininity in the current historical context. We retrace the creation of the ideal of romantic love, motherhood and domestic care in modernity as a tool of patriarchal exploitation. We theorize about violence against women as an expression of this system. We relate gender oppression to the condition of Brazilian dependence and slavery. In this context, we carried out a brief survey of the relationships between domestic violence and the pandemic, envisioning processes of resurgence. We introduce the main epistemological bases of historical-cultural psychology to support the discussion. From them, we highlight the affective-volitional basis in the structuring of the psyche and activity. In light of this theoretical survey, we carried out narrative interviews with women who suffered domestic and family violence between 2020 and 2022. The analysis of the data generated was structured under a comprehensive bias, considering the historical-dialectical materialist theoretical-methodological foundation. We obtained data on the production of affections, thoughts and actions in women based on patriarchal ideology. We reflect on its relations with the capitalist mode of production and the consequent use of domestic violence as a tool to maintain this structure. In addition to a dominant construction of what it means to be a woman, we also discuss the lack of social support and survival conditions as conditions for remaining in a violent relationship. Given the small elaboration on the pandemic by the interviewees, we relate it to an increase in violence already experienced. We also emphasize that there are strategies of resistance and ruptures, even within the relationship, highlighting the affects of anger. We conclude that there is a need for new studies delving deeper into the relationships identified and the relevance of historical-cultural psychology in structuring the fight against violence against women and, beyond that, the fight against patriarchalism and its modal relationships with capitalism, colonialism and racism.Item A gênese do conceito de masoquismo e sua relação com a noção do feminino na teoria psicanalítica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-07-31) Machado, Gabriela Batista; Santos, Altair José dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2734116381590215; Santos, Altair José dos; Lima, Priscilla Melo Ribeiro de; Souza, Elisabeth Cristina Landi de LimaThis work has investigated the origin of the masochism concept e its relation with the feminine view in psychoanalytical theory. The development of this concept is straightly associated with the XIX century writer Sachor Masoch and his main book Venus in Furs. This work published in 1890 describes the satisfaction involved in pain and humilliation. The masochism concept first came out as a category in medicine studies. Those were focused on clarifying the difference between the normal and acceptable sexual behaviours from the ones considered astray. Few years later, Freud considered that this masochism category belonged to the universal feature of human’s sexual behaviour. The concept’s development went through important changes in Freud’s theory, as it was first considered as a universal feature of sexual life and later developed to an important economic factor in psychic appliance. Freud noticed that social conventions had an important influence on women’s bodies and later concluded that women’s tough education made masochism something entirely feminine. With this observation, Freud criticizes the social and cultural context of the XIX century, that forced the repression of women’s agressiveness, leading the anger to themselves and creating the masochist tendencies, which is why Freud associated the masochism with the feminine. We can tell in Freud’s writtings a consistent elaboration on masochism, however, we cannot find the same kind of elaboration on the feminine concept. The gap left by Freud is filled by Lacan some years later, in a way that this feminine concept is not related to previous analysed masochism phenomenons. According to Lacan, what lacks in the feminine is the falic border, which is why the feminine condition can go way further when it comes to love giving, this condition, according to Lacan, is not represented by masochism, but by devastationItem Sobrevivendo à vertigem: determinações e implicações da violência na saúde mental, na condição periférica dependente, a partir das contribuições de Ignacio Martín-Baró e Frantz Fanon(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-03-01) Machado, Isabel Cristina dos Santos Pedroso; Farias, Tadeu Mattos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1403676057443123; Farias, Tadeu Mattos; Costa, Pedro Henrique Antunes da; Lacerda Junior, FernandoEste trabajo es un estudio teórico, un ensayo de inspiración marxista acerca de las implicaciones y determinaciones de la violencia en la salud mental, conectado a factores sociales y culturales, en sociabilidades de una condición periférica dependiente, soportado en las interpretaciones de Ignacio Martín-Baró y Frantz Fanon, en diálogo con importantes intérpretes de la tradición marxista del pensamiento social brasileño. Item Psicologia Escolar na Educação de surdos: desafios e possibilidades(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-12-18) Marega, Ana Carolina Marques; Santana, Alba Cristhiane; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6813258598750106; Mata, Alba Cristhiane Santana da; Rodrigues, Divino de Jesus da Silva; Resende, Maria do Rosario SilvaThe objective of this research is to understand the possibilities of contribution of School Psychology in the Education of the deaf, considering the demands generated by the inclusion policy and the knowledge of psychologists regarding their professional practice in the area. This research was carried out in the Postgraduate Program in Psychology at the Federal University of Goiás, in the research line: Psychosocial and Educational Processes. The study is based on Vygotsky's historical-cultural perspective and, in order to achieve the proposed objective, a combination of procedures was developed, namely: literature review, document analysis and application of questionnaires to the psychologists. A quantitative-descriptive and qualitative analysis of the literature review was carried out, which led to the conclusion that most of the selected texts address issues related to the Education of the deaf, with some being based on concepts from Psychology to discuss the development and learning process with this audience, and few texts specifically addressing the relationship between School Psychology and Education of the deaf. A documentary analysis of legislation in force in Brazil regarding inclusive education and deaf education was carried out. Finally, in the analysis of the questionnaires applied to thirty psychologists, two categories were organized: Characterization of the participants and experience with deaf education; and Knowledge of psychologists about school psychology and deaf education. In general, the results of the questionnaires indicated, based on the participants' knowledge, the need for structural support in schools and continued training for professionals to work with deaf students; the understanding that educational policies represent a challenge, but also a step forward in guaranteeing students' rights. Many challenges were observed for the work of school psychologists in deaf education, but possibilities were also identified, covering educational policies and the development of researchItem A perspectiva dos profissionais da Estratégia da Saúde da Família (ESF) sobre as experiências adversas no desenvolvimento infantil em Goiânia-GO(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-06-28) Mateus, Ana Cláudia; Costa, Luciane Ribeiro de Rezende Sucasas da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9906371509661305; Tavares, Naraiana de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8113112565220386; Tavares, Naraiana de Oliveira; Costa, Luciane Ribeiro de Rezende Sucasas da; Brabatti, Larissa Polejack; Resende, Maria do Rosário SilvaThe present study addresses the issue of early childhood development, highlighting its importance and the relevance of Adverse Childhood Experiences (AEC) within this context. Psychology, when analyzing health, socio-historical and political aspects, recognizes the influence of EAIs on human development. The general objective of this work is to understand the routine of professionals from the Family Health Strategy Program (ESF) in relation to Adverse Experiences in Childhood (AIs) in their work environment at the Estrela D’Alva health unit and in the community served. The specific objective is to develop a conceptual matrix that addresses EAIs in the context of the Estrela D'Alva health unit, using Bronfenbrenner's Bioecological Theory of Human Development as a theoretical basis. To explore these experiences, interviews were conducted with professionals who work in the Family Health Strategy Program (ESF), at the health unit located in the Estrela D'Alva neighborhood, in Goiânia, Goiás. A semi-structured script was used during the interviews, in the in which 20 FHS professionals shared their routines, experiences and adverse experiences related to work, as well as their consequences for child development. Bardin's Content Analysis method was used, therefore in the light of qualitative reality. The results showed that the topics covered are closely linked to the reality of work in family health, situations of growth and development, the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the vulnerabilities of early childhood and the precariousness of the physical structure of the health unit, in addition to of the overload faced by professionals. The final considerations highlight the limitations of the research and point to possibilities for monitoring and evaluating public health policies for early childhood, such as the importance of effective public policies, highlighting the need to monitor and evaluate such policies, considering the risk and protection factors for mental health at this crucial stage of life.Item A genealogia do conceito de perversão na obra freudiana(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-06-26) Menezes, Kellen Cristiny Araujo; Santos, Altair José dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2734116381590215; Santos, Altair José dos; Sampaio, Eloy San Carlo Maximo; Roure, Susie Amâncio Gonçalves deThe present research has the general objective of establishing the genesis and development of the concept of perversion in Freud's work; and, as specific objectives, investigate the pre psychoanalytic notion of perversion, study the notion of perversion in Freud's first theory of the psychic apparatus and investigate the concept of perversion in Freud after 1920. In this sense, the research method in psychoanalysis is used , with a systematic approach in a bibliographic review to delimit the topic, data collection, analysis and synthesis of the information obtained. Thus, perversion initially starts from the medical-legal vision and constitutes, in Freud's work, three major moments, the first around the Three essays on the theory of sexuality of 1905, second around the text A child is beaten of 1919 and the third moment around the text Fetishism of 1927. It is then understood that psychoanalysis revolutionized, differentiating itself from the medicine of the time and understanding perversion as a clinical structure alongside neurosis and psychosis.Item A psicodinâmica do cardiopata em emergência a partir do TAT na psicanálise bioniana(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-10-04) Miguel, Geyssy Yorrana Canedo; Hur, Domenico Uhng; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9021644568209077; Hur, Domenico Uhng; Costa Neto, Sebastiao Benicio da; Lima, Priscilla Melo Ribeiro deThe objective of this study is to understand the psychodynamics of cardiac patients in the emergency context. Specific objectives included: understanding the patient's perception regarding their health condition and hospitalization; evoking elements of the subject's psychodynamics; investigating possible signs of a failure in the capacity to integrate sensory impressions and emotions into thinkable models; and exploring a possible predominance of primary processes and psychotic personality traits over secondary processes and non-psychotic personality traits in the subject. The methodology involved a theoretical study of Bion's work and an empirical procedure with purposive sampling, including eight patients from the cardiology ward of an emergency hospital in Goiânia. Participants were subjected to the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), and their narratives were analyzed using Bion's conceptual framework. Two modes of functioning emerged: first, denial and refusal to engage with important and challenging themes; second, a latent expression of emotions such as sadness, loneliness, and proximity to death. The findings highlight the need to address the denial present in these patients from the onset of the illness and to implement practices aimed at reducing anxiety, providing support, and offering containment.Item O muro (in)transponível para a consciência: implicações da alienação para o desenvolvimento do psiquismo na dialética consciente-inconsciente(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-08-08) Morais, Mariana dos Santos; Santos, Livia Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5256547603541759; Santos, Livia Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5256547603541759; Silva, Flavia Gonçalves da; Farias, Tadeu MattosThe present dissertation aims to understand the implications of alienation in the development of human psyche in its conscious-unconscious dialectic. The ng hypothesis is that capitalism, through alienation, creates a “wall” that hinders unconscious content from passing into consciousness, in a way it alters the functioning of this dialectical dynamic. Therefore, the research was guided by Historical-Cultural Psychology (HCP) and Marxist references. The methodology could not be other than historical-dialectical materialism; the methodologic procedures were text research and reading, culminating in the development of 3 chapters. The first chapter systematized the concept of alienation in Marx, with contributions from Marxists, starting from the historical construction of this category, its relation to work in the development of humanity and how it is historically unraveled with the process of commodification that is universalized in capitalism through private property and social division of labor, down to the specificities of the current productive organization. Afterwards, it weaved its relation with ideology, fetish and reification and ended with revolutionary perspectives for overcoming it. The second chapter was constructed in order to understand the development of the psyche in its entirety, based on Vygotsky, one of the precursors of HCP, as well as continuators of his theory. Thus, reinforcing the perspective of psychic constitution in direct relation to the existing mode of production. Furthermore, the development of the higher psychological functions, such as language, thought, emotion and volition, which have an intimate relationship with the regulatory function of the conscious-unconscious dynamic, was elucidated. The third chapter aimed at understanding consciousness, the unconscious and their dynamic relationship (dialectic and split). Finally, a strong indication was found that in the face of alienation, especially in its intensification in contemporary capitalism, there is, in the psyche of the working class, a relationship of domination-subordination, where the unconscious senses seem to thrive in the face of the regulation of consciousness in the development of the psyche. To face this reality, the appropriation of proletarian ideology was defended through education, participation in social movements and overcoming alienation with the revolution and the end of class society. It was also pointed out the need for new studies that deepen this dynamic at a theoretical level in other HCP authors and within Vygotsky's own work; in addition to giving particular contours of its manifestation.Item Notas de um bastardo do Ocidente: tensões entre a psicanálise, o problema negro e a literatura(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-08-28) Moura, Lucas Passos de; Lima, Priscilla Melo Ribeiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5233347099900059; Lima, Priscilla Melo Ribeiro de; Ambra, Pedro Eduardo Silva; Faustino, Deivison Mendes; Souza, Elizabeth Cristina Landi de Lima eWith this work, I seek to investigate the possible contributions of the literary works of Lima Barreto (1881-1922) and James Baldwin (1924-1987) to theorization and contemporary psychoanalytic praxis, taking as a basis the interface between psychoanalysis, literature and the critique of culture. My hypothesis is that, in their work, we find the possibility of a dialogue with the problematics of our time, focusing on these writer’s considerations about colonialism and its legacies. Therefore, the research is supported by the current debates about the vicissitudes of the processes of identification and subjective constitution in our context, in view of their intrinsic relationship with the “black problem” [le problème noir], a term used by Frantz Fanon in order to describe the incidence of colonialism in psychic life and, also, in the culture. I approach this theme from a perspective of black men, recognizing the need to think about this portion of our population that arrives at the clinic, whose lived experience reveals the continuum between the already declared centers of focus for this investigation — the social pole and psychic pole. Thus, this work is a qualitative research that follows, as a proposal for the methodological path, the contributions of Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutics regarding the analysis of fictional and historical narratives (triple Mimesis), as well as what is questionable in its approach to current discussions, having psychoanalysis as its theoretical anchor and its dialogue with the field of literary productions.Item A morte e seus desdobramentos na obra "A morte de Ivan Ilitch", de Lev Tolstói: uma perspectiva psicanalítica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2024-11-06) Mourão, Brunno Alvares Ataide; Burgarelli, Cristóvão Giovani; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7094012821984177; Burgarelli, Cristóvão Giovani; Miranda, Cassio Eduardo Soares; Lima, Priscilla Melo Ribeiro deThis work investigates death and its developments in the literary work The Death of Ivan Ilyich by Lev Tolstoy, from a Freudian psychoanalytic perspective, dialoguing with theories of literary criticism, such as Jean Bellemin-Noël's textanalysis and Roland Barthes' concept of the death of the author. It also integrates a historical-sociological overview based on the writings of Philippe Ariès, aiming to contextualize the cultural and social transformations that influenced the conception of death in the West and how they resonate in the work. From this panorama, the analysis seeks to understand how the protagonist, Ivan Ilyich, faced death, highlighting themes such as the loss of ideals, the denial of death (the belief in immortality in the unconscious), and the return to the infantile. Moreover, it explores, as its main focus, thedimensions of psychic suffering manifested in his self-recriminations through a diagnostic hypothesis that articulates the concepts of mania and melancholia. It also problematizes the use of psychoanalytic diagnosis in fictional characters, recognizing both the complexity and limitations of this approach. In this sense, the analysis not only opens discussions about the subjectivity of the character but also explores the possible traces of Tolstoy's life that permeate the work, challenging the notion of the "death of the author." Finally, the manic-melancholic hypothesis is presented as an interpretative possibility, without intending to establish a definitive diagnosis, thus allowing a more flexible reading that values the dialogue between the reader, the text, and the historical context
