OBJECTIVES: The aim of this research is to identify the ideal, in terms of professional practice, of the internship students in the Medical School of the Federal University of Goiás – UFG − and to observe possible dissonances with the profile of the graduates, as advocated by the National Curriculum Guidelines and by the Political Pedagogic Project of this institution. METHODS: In 2012, two hundred and twenty-two medical internship students of the institution received a survey questionnaire. The sample of this research consisted of one hundred and ninety research subjects, representing 85% of the sample universe. The statistical significance was calculated using a non-parametric test (Sign Test). RESULTS: The sociodemographic profile characterizes the students with an average age of 23,8 years old, unmarried, 65,8% of whom belong to social classes A and B. The ideal of the profile of professional practice shows that 83,7% want to become specialists, whereas 96,3% want medical residency, which is statistically significant (p=0,0001), and 71,6% do not intend to work with Family Health Strategy Programs (p=0,005). CONCLUSION: This study shows that students with high socio-economic profile, who want to become specialists, undergo a medical residency program and do not see the Family Health Strategy as a professional goal.Item Formação acadêmica e atuação profissional de nutricionistas de núcleos de apoio à saúde da família de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-11-22) Aguiar, Camilla Botêga; Costa, Nilce Maria da Silva Campos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6977373149115047; Costa, Nilce Maria da Silva Campos; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho; Mortoza, Andrea SugaiThe current model of Health Care in Brazil prioritizes health promotion, prevention, control and treatment of health problems of individuals and families with integrity and continues. These actions are directly or indirectly related to food , requiring the insertion of a nutritionist in Primary Health The aim of this study was to analyze the academic performance and nutritionists professionals of the Centers of Support for Family Health of the State of Goiás, from the perspective of the researched, with a descriptive, exploratory, cross-sectional. For data collection we used a self-administered questionnaire with open and closed questions to characterize and study the academic and professional performance of the nutritionists. The data was tabulated in Excel and made a descriptive analysis of variables. The participants were 22 nutritionists , female , representing 88 % of the nutritionists from Centers of Support for Family Health of the State of Goiás. From these , 59.1 % had less than three years of graduation; 13.6 % had made a specialization in Health Family , 27.3 % felt qualified to work professionally with reflection on the socioeconomic , political and cultural territory. Regarding performance, 80 % are hired temporarily, 36.4 % worked for less than a year, 18.2 % were trained before the start of activities and 59.1 % felt somewhat qualified for working on the Centers of Support for Family Health. On the professional practice, (9.1%) nutritionists argued over a matrix model meetings and references used on the tool. Teamwork was appointed as facilitator of actions performed (40.9 %), and no knowledge of the role of Centers of Support for Family Health as a factor that hinders (31.8 %). The nutritionists from Centers of Support for Family Health of the State of Goiás have little professional experience and qualifications to work in family health. Have difficulties to understand the local reality. The form of entrance affects the bond between the professionals and the public. The matrix model was just highlighted in meetings and theoretical support. There is need for more studies on the Centers of Support for Family Health.Item Atenção às urgências odontológicas em unidades de pronto-atendimento do sistema único de saúde(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-11-27) Rios, Leonardo Essado; Queiroz, Maria Goretti; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7079676967280121; Queiroz, Maria Goretti; Marcelo, Vânia Cristina; Nunes, Maria de FátimaThe pain of dental origin has high prevalence, presents itself as a public health problem and cause negative impact on quality of life of people. Because of that, attention to dental emergencies has particular importance in the health care of the population, however there is little research on this topic. In the present study it was aimed to analyze dental care in Emergency Care Units of the Unified Health System (SUS) in optics of dentists workers in this service. It was a study of mixed methods and data were collected through a questionnaire with assertions of polar agreement and disagreement (Likert scale). Participated as subjects dentists (N = 44) workers in the emergency dental service of the Emergency Care Units of SUS from Goiânia, GO. There was a tendency to full concordance (average percentage of agreement above 76%) about this type of service answering to a spontaneous demand with complaints of pain and trauma and also about the affirmation that basic procedures of urgency such as dental extractions, alveolitis and bleeding treatments, drainage of intraoral abscesses and medicalization must be performed there. Tendency to concordance (average percentage between 26% and 75%) was verified in relation to the statement that the service aims to relief the suffering of the population with pain of dental origin. Propensity to indifference (average percentage among -25% and 25%) occurred on the host with risk classification while service feature, and still about patients that should be referred to more complex units for emergency care. Tendency to disagreement (average percentage among -26% and -75%) was verified in relation to the attendance of non-urgent patients and the performance of dental restorative procedures. There was no tendency to full disagreement (average percentage above -75%) about any of the items. In the view of respondents the emergency dental care in emergency units of SUS are intended for the relief of typically urgent situations, in cases where there is no risk of advanced infections, by performance of procedures characteristically related to situations of urgency and that require basic technical fitness from the professional. There’s a lack on the policy of humanization and teamwork at the service. As a product of the study, it was designed a proposal for an update course of dental care to the professionals in the Emergency Care Units.Item Preceptoria em saúde bucal na atenção básica no município de Goiânia sob a perspectiva do preceptor(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-12-16) Sousa, Débora Péclat de; Nunes, Maria de Fátima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1073613293336515; Nunes, Maria de Fátima; Freire, Maria do Carmo Matias; Queiroz, Maria GorettiThe undergraduate process in the health field is associated with intersectoral activity between the Sistema Único de Saúde and the institutions of higher education, seeking to approach the future professional to the brazilian health social reality and the public service. The preceptor is an important actor in this process because he/she is responsible for mediating the formation of the labor world. The aim of this study was to assess the oral health preceptorship developed in primary care units in the city of Goiânia, Goiás, from the perspective of the preceptor. It has been developed an exploratory qualitative study using the focus group technique. Have participated in the research preceptors dentists PET-Saúde and / or institutional placements between the Dentistry College, Federal University of Goiás and the Municipal Health Agency of Goiânia. The preceptors dentists have been divided into three focus groups: focus group 1 - composed of dentists working in primary care, specifically in the Estratégia de Saúde da Família, and that were preceptors in the subjects Estágio em Odontologia Coletiva I e Estágio em Odontologia Coletiva II, in 2012; focus group 2 - composed of preceptors dentists from primary care clinic of the subject Stage IV in Public Dentistry, Dentistry College, Federal University of Goiás, in 2011; and Focus group 3 - composed of dentists, in 2011/2012 and 2013/2014 in PET-Saúde of the Federal University of Goiás. The script that guided the discussions contained aspects concerning to knowledge of the new National Curriculum Guidelines and the practices of teaching and assessment; the changes brought by the preceptorship for vocational training and academic tutor, and also to the environmental work; problems found in preceptorship and suggestions for solutions. It was also requested that the focus group participants complete a self-administered questionnaire to characterize the preceptor. The focus group discussions were recorded in audio and later transcribed. Then, the content analysis was done according to Bardin and at that time was used WebQda software. Three main categories related to the proposed objectives have risen up: education, training and preceptorship. Preceptors recognize their role in education, but are unaware of the National Curriculum Guidelines; they realize some changes that occurred in the undergraduate course in dentistry, but do not associate them with curriculum changes, expressing the need to know what is in the curriculum guidelines. They also claim that unaware teaching practices, declare that traditional teaching methods are no longer used, but do not demonstrate knowledge of active teaching methodologies, despite claiming to use them as teaching strategies. About assessment methodologies they also deny having knowledge, although all preceptors perform this function; they report having difficulties to evaluate, but recognize the importance of this role as a tutor. According to the preceptors, among the factors that facilitate the activities of preceptorship are the relationships with students, with team work and coordination of disciplines Internship in Public Dentistry, among the factors that hinder the activities of preceptorship are relations with students, to the staff, with infrastructure, with social facilities with the community and the subject which coordinates the internship. Preceptors recognize that there are differences between the preceptorship of Internship in Public Dentistry preceptorship subjects with PET-Saúde ones, and point out how difficult the difference between the types of preceptorship in relation to remuneration and training for the exercise of preceptorship. They recognize the how changes caused by the existence of preceptorship for students, the approach to the reality of Public Health System, the approach to public health practice, the demystification of poor oral health care, and to the preceptor, the possibilities for exchange of knowledge and experiences with the students. They also suggested changes to the work environment and the community. They recognize the need and importance of training for the exercise of preceptorship and demanding, especially for the activities of teaching and assessment. They also recognize additional forms to the skills, as moments of sharing experiences. We conclude that the preceptors do not demonstrate knowledge about the National Curriculum Guidelines, apply teaching practices and assessment, but they don’t know their principles; PET-Health preceptors have more skills as they need them more than others; there are changes in the workplace and in academic training and preceptor arising from preceptorship and there advantages and difficulties in the implementation of preceptorship.Item Contribuições do Pronto Sorriso na formação do profissional de saúde(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-12-18) Paiva, Maria Luiza de Faria; Lima, Fátima Maria Lindoso da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5289890813807831; Lima, Fátima Maria Lindoso da Silva; Moraes, Vardeli Alves de; Neves, Denise Carmem de AndradeThe research aimed to analyze the participants' perception of discipline Pronto Sorriso, FMUFG (Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Federal de Goiás) regarding the contribution of this project in the professional training, describe the individual characteristics of the participants, identify through interviews major changes in the lives of the professional result of their participation in the project, analyze the contributions and impact on their training and identify the motivation for participation in Pronto Sorriso. This is a qualitative, cross-sectional, exploratory research. This project subjects twenty ( 20 ) professionals in the health fields, Pronto Sorriso discipline participants in 2006 and 2007. After signing TCLE the informed began data collecting through individual interviews, using as a tool to search a roadmap that consists of seven semi-structured questions, as well as a biographical questionnaire containing seven socio items. This research allowed us to trace the profile of the respondents: the majority were students of medicine, female, aged between twenty and thirty years and completed the graduation between the years 2008 and 2011 . It was found that the majority of professionals reported as positive: the contribution in teaching and learning for academic training , changes and their effects on personal and professional life and changes in attitudes and attitude towards patients, colleagues and the team work. This author also improves the communication performance in multi coexistence , making a difference in their lives. We concluded that the Projeto Pronto Sorriso has provided new knowledge and experiences, and added values brought about the development of skills related to professional practice extremely important in building good health practices .Item Doenças ocupacionais – percepção de médicos e enfermeiros da estratégia saúde da família(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-12-18) Mori, Érika Chediak; Naghettini, Alessandra Vitorino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2496399309339551; Naghettini, Alessandra Vitorino; Martins, Cleusa Alves; Marques, Solomar MartinsThe worker's health stands out as one of the tasks of the Unified Health System. In this sense, the Primary Health Care and the Family Health Strategy take an important role in the development of actions in the health field-work, mainly in Brazil by the large number of informal workers and domiciled. The aim of this study was to identify the concept of doctors and nurses of the Family Health Strategy of Aparecida de Goiânia on occupational diseases. This is a qualitative descriptive study sampling was defined by saturation and the analysis of the data was performed by the technique of content analysis with the aid of the software Atlas TI – 5.0. The study was conducted in units of FHS in the municipality of Aparecida de Goiânia, Goiás. Eight Basic Health Units were selected and and 16 health professionals were interviewed. The data were collected in their respective workplaces of the participants of the interview, in the months of February to April 2013, after approval by the Ethics and Research Committee. The interviews were recorded and subsequently transcribed for your analysis. In assessing the academic formation it is possible to observe the inadequacy of the load time of discipline regarding workers ' health, where the professionals have reported about a short experience with this theme. The professionals have reported on the lack of knowledge in the area of workers ' health, observed how the area is still undervalued and little explored in academia and professional. Of the 16 professionals interviewed, three have gone through professional training in occupational health at the workplace. It is concluded that the Family Health Strategy professionals recognize the importance of actions geared toward workers health in Basic Health Units, but underscores the difficulty to understand the work-health-disease relationships. It is suggested the investment in professional training and technical support to carry out these actions, aimed at the better service to the employee.Item Promoção da saúde na escola: conhecimentos e práticas de profissionais da saúde e da educação(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-12-19) Silva, Ana Lúcia Alves Carneiro da; Lima, Jacqueline Rodrigues de; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8722459243487573; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho Francescantonio; Marcelo, Vânia Cristina; Costa, Nilce Maria da Silva CamposIn the late twentieth century, health promotion emerged in answer to individual responsibility for health. Therefore, a service reorientation was proposed considering intersectoralaction as an important tool. The Brazilian Program Health in School is an iniciative focused on the partnership between Family Health teams and school community. To accomplish such partnership and build healthier schools, a program of continuing education is required. The aim of this study was to assess the knowledge and practices of health promotion in the school context. The study was conduct using descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected from the participants in a course on health promotion practices through focus groups and, later, analyzed using Tesch’s proposition. The results suggest that the participant’s concepts and descriptions of the facilitators and the hindering factors evolved from a discourse centered on the individual to a perception of the collective. Then, we suggest the need to expand opportunities for continuing education, approaching both theoretical and practical content.Item Construção e validação de ferramenta virtual em tratamento racional de Diabetes mellitus(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-02-10) Silva, Eldeci Cardoso da; Taleb, Alexandre Chater; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3191620401627150; Costa, Nilce Maria da Silva Campos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6977373149115047; Taleb, Alexandre Chater; Affiune Neto, Abrahão; Pereira, Edna Regina SilvaVirtual Clinical cases are effective interactive tools for assessing clinical skills, simulating various aspects of doctor patient interaction. The aims of this study were to develop and psychometrically validate a virtual tool to assess knowledge about the diagnosis and rational treatment of diabetes mellitus, based on its pathophysiology, in a computer graphical user interface, and to propose a model of support for teaching, in order to promote Telecare and Tele-education. This was a methodological development study with a quantitative approach. The virtual clinical cases were applied to a group of 14 doctors from a universe of 60 Endocrinologists (experts) and to another group of 72 third-year medical school students. The process followed the guidelines for the evaluation of psychometric properties with descriptive and inferential analyses. For reliability analysis, Cronbach's alpha was applied to expert, student and all-group questionnaires (,890: ,606: ,770). The difference in scores between experts and students was highly significant by Friedman (p > 0.01) and Wilcoxon (p > 0.001) tests. From the analysis of the scores, a manual for regulation of VCC and a graphical interface in virtual clinical case format (simulation) were created, linked to a database hosted on the Telehealth system – Goiás Federal University of Goias platform. The instrument is easy to understand and to use by subjects. When applied to students and medical professionals, the instrument also fulfills a function of process evaluation parallel to the formative process and can also be useful in continuing education in the FHS. In summary, the VCC resulted in an instrument with proven psychometric properties and features, and can therefore be considered a valid and reliable instrument to measure knowledge about the diagnosis and rational treatment of DM based on its pathophysiology. The project has pioneered, since there was not an online tool, developed and previously validated for reviewing of clinical cases. We intend to continue this project expanding its use for formative assessment and continuing education in other specialties of internal medicine.Item Implicações do perfil epidemiológico do servidor da Universidade Federal de Goiás para as ações educativas(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-02-13) Oliveira, Cláudia Araújo de; Nunes, Maria de Fátima; Nunes, Maria de Fátima; Neves, Sônia Mello; Costa, Nilce Maria da Silva Campos; Queiroz, Maria Goretti; Freire, Maria do Carmo MatiasIncreased life expectancy provides the emergence of diseases associated with aging, such as non-communicable chronic diseases, in the population. Due to the relevance of this topic, the aim of this study was to analyze the epidemiological profile of public servants assessed in admission exam for Forensic Medicine Unit of the Integrated Subsystem Attention to the Servant Health of the Federal University of Goiás, from January/2012 to January/2013. It was also established an intervention goal, aiming to develop a proposition of a course of continuing education in health to the public employees of Integrated Subsystem Attention to the Servant Health of the Federal University of Goiás, in order to propose actions for health promotion to those servants of the UFG. It was conducted a retrospective descriptive study of the health conditions of 358 servants hired at UFG, by public tender. The research was conducted through review of medical records and the sample was a convenience (census). The prevalence of overweight, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia, smoking and alcohol consumption was respectively: 41.7%, 25,6%, 30.3%, 19.1%, 7.5% and 5.3%. Association was found between body mass index (weight / height ²) with males (p ≤ 0.001) and the levels of blood pressure (p ≤ 0.001). Metabolic syndrome was observed in 19 subjects aged 25-34 years (5,6%), from 339 servants that had at least three associated risk factors. Among the individuals with metabolic syndrome, most have some degree of overweight /obesity with statistical significance amongst individuals with excess of body weight (p ≤ 0.001) and in males (p = 0.002). It was concluded that among examined for admission exam at the Federal University of Goiás, from January 2012 to January 2013, there were: high prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors for the development of non-communicable chronic diseases such as systemic hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, overweight /obesity and metabolic syndrome in a population predominantly composed of young adults, associations between body mass index increased and male sex, systemic hypertension and personal history of hypertension; association between self-reported non-communicable chronic diseases and hypertension; association between metabolic syndrome and male sex and body mass index increased, the low prevalence of self-reported tobacco and alcohol consumption, aptitude in the mental sanity certificate among all the servants; high prevalence of refractive errors in the visual acuity examination and alterations in campimetry; high prevalence of inflammatory onco-parasitic cytology in female servants and low prevalence of altered mammograms; high prevalence of normal electrocardiograms. It’s necessary to intervene with promotional educational activities for UFG servants by actions on health education. Thus, initially it was proposed a course of continuing education to the servants of the Integrated Subsystem Attention to the Server Health of the Federal University of Goiás.Item Percepções discentes sobre a Estratégia de Saúde da Família e a escolha pela especialidade de Medicina de Família e Comunidade(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-02-21) Issa, Afonso Henrique Teixeira Magalhaes; Silva, Marcos Wesley da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8744505825685805; Lima, Fátima Maria Lindoso da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5289890813807831; Pereira, Edsaura Maria; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8820722314388248; Marques, Solomar Martins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5168936259198176Objective: To analyze the perceptions of undergraduates in medicine in relation to the work of the Family Health Strategy (FHS) and the influencing factors in choosing the specialty of Family Medicine and Community (FM). Materials and Methods: An exploratory and qualitative study of a cross-sectional nature involving undergraduates in the 11th period of the medical school of the University Center of Anápolis (UniEVANGÉLICA) which is located in the Central-West region of Brazil. The study involved the examination of data collected from the body of students involved in a course of study who have been selected after approval by the Ethics and Research Committee. In the research, two instruments for collecting data and information were used: Firstly a questionnaire and secondly a roadmap for semi-structured interviews. This approach was taken in order to Identify Socioeconomic Characterization along with the Identification of Occupational Aspirations and analysis of factors that influence their choice of FM by using the technique of content analysis. Results and Discussion: None of the interviewed graduates opted to specialize in FM. The low social status, low wages, lack of labor rights, the experience of little contact with medical specialists during the course, the poor solutions in FHS, with poor working conditions and limited opportunity for professional growth showed up as negative influences in their choice. FM have previously examined the social relevance, comprehensive clinical work, bond with patients, as well as greater contact with medical experts in FM for new graduates to present themselves as positive influences on the perception of choices. Final Thoughts: The most effective actions that can ensure the recovery of the FHS as a more inclusive and positive workplace and one that offers a more recognized appreciation of family medicine as a medical specialty is as outlined. Better wages and greater social recognition of the work of the FM are factors that should be considered in policy actions. A further major factor would be ensuring labor rights and conditions for personal accomplishment in the FHS expert in FM. The inclusion of experts in FM graduation may assist in identifying students with this specialty. Further studies should be conducted to broaden the understanding of the subject and deeper questioning of this important theme for consolidation of the Unified Health System (SUS).Item A preceptoria em serviço de emergência e urgência hospitalar na perspectiva de médicos(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-02-26) Sant'Ana, Elisete Regina Rubin de Bortoli; Pereira, Edna Regina Silva; Pereira, Edna Regina Silva; Costa, Nilce Maria da Silva Campos; Oliveira, Cacilda Pedrosa de; Naghettini, Alessandra Vittorino; Lima, Jaqueline RodriguesThe human resources formation in the health care area has been suffering from a series of reconstructions with the purpose of supplying the failures related to solving the population health problems. One of the current challenges is the competent formation of the health care staff, in a way that they are able to act in emergency and urgency situations. And in this scenario, the training hospitals are of utmost importance as they receive a great number of students to be trained. In this context, there was an option to develop a case study with a qualitative approach, with the objective of analyzing the tutorship in the perspective of fifteen doctors who worked in and emergency and urgency health care system from a Federal Teaching Institution in Goiânia-Goiás. The data were collected from January 2013 to March 2013, through very close questionnaires and also semi-structured interviews, followed by a guide with open questions. For the analysis of the data collected in the interviews, Bardin (2009) technique of content analysis was used. From the data analysis, it was established that doctors consider tutoring a key element in the learning process in a practical way and it was also established that being a tutor means provide students the knowledge but also be responsible for their future formation. There were many tutoring activities mentioned, most ofthem related to clinic and surgery cases. Another outcome was that the tutoring enables the tutor to continue developing his or her studies, learning through their pupilswho also can be benefited in becoming well-trained professionals. The interest, a good formation in theories, and a good rapport between the staff was also highlighted as a key to help achieve the goal. On the other hand, the lack of structure, the little time awarded to procedures, the teachers’ lack of communication among themselves, tutors and students, the double-shift involving teaching and preceptor and the lack of tutor training were reported as negative points that hinder the process. In conclusion, in the doctors’ point of view, the tutoring contributes in the formation of the future professional. However, there are many difficulties facing this area. Some structural changes have been developed in order to make the process more efficient such as applying more time. But, there is also a great need of improvement in the emergency and urgency areas, and there is also a search for projects focused on training tutors allied to the Institutions for Graduation Courses related to the health care area.Item Irregularidades sanitárias nas drogarias de Goiânia e aplicação com avaliação de uma ação educativa(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-02-27) Moraes, Luciana Calil Samora de; Provin, Mércia Pandolfo; Lima, Dione Marçal; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4310011929664114; Lima, Dione Marçal; Menezes, Ida Helena Carvalho F.; Martins, Karine AnuscaThe Drugstores are places of great relevance because of services and products they make available to the community. The non-following of the sanitary laws and regulations which the drugstores are subject to can compromise the quality of services and products offered and harm the overall community health in which they are placed. It is responsibility of the Normative Institutions which oversight and regulate the sector to promote information and knowledge of the rules all the sector must abide to. The objective of this Study was to survey the drugstores in order to have a clear understanding of the main non-conformities and their causes. This way educational campaigns can be prepared to promote a better understanding and following of the legislation, and serve as a model for future actions of the Health Surveillance. The method of the Study consisted in analyzing 71 Intervention Cases related to Drugstores in the city of Goiania-GO that occurred between October of 2012 and October of 2013 analyzing the Before and After of these interventions. The Study was developed in three phases. 1º- check up of the level of obedience to the Sanitary Legislation by the Drugstores in Goiania. In order to raise information of the main irregularities, the demographics and social aspect, as well as the professional qualification of the Technician legally responsible for the Drugstore. 2º- promotion of Educational Workshops destined for the legally Responsible Technicians of the Drugstores participating in the study. 3º- overall evaluation of the Educational Initiative. The main non-conformities encountered were: lack of individual protection equipment(IPE´s) in 70,4% of the places and lack of Standard Operational Procedures(SOP) for discharge and use of IPE´s in 60,6%. Of the establishments that worked with prescription medicines of special control 37,3% were not sending the files to the ANVISA(National Oversight Sanitary Regulations Agency) accordingly. There were found erasures or lack of filling in 37,3% of the Drugstores surveyed in the study, and about 50% of the blanks on the forms, where filling was mandatory, were not properly filled , specially in regarding to antimicrobial medicine. The Educational Initiative was considered satisfactory when judging the reaction to the trainings and also the post training job performance. In regarding to learning, the right answers in the pre-test(before the training) were 271(61,18%) out of 450 questions, and in the post-test (after the training) were 368(81,78%) out of 450 questions evaluated. The study revealed the Drugstores in Goiania show many nonconformities in regarding to the sanitary legislation some of them of great sanitary risk to the community. The educational initiative in this study had a satisfactory reaction and there was a positive reaction to the application of what was learned. Also positive was the skills improvement of the technicians who participated in the Educational Initiative which shows the importance of such actions in order to promote knowledge on the nation´s Sanitary Regulations.Item Humanização em gestão - percepção da equipe de enfermagem em uma maternidade escola(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-02-28) Adorno, Alexandrina Maria Nogueira Guerra; Martins, Cleusa Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3673049551991956; Martins, Cleusa Alves; Lima, Jacqueline Rodrigues de; Costa Neto, Sebastião Benício; Costa, Nilce Maria da Silva Campos; Queiroz, Ana Lucia BezerraThe humanization policy in the context of health constitutes a relevant actions sedimentary health care of the population direction and determines the reflection on the formative processes in human resources for health. Qualitative study, aimed at analyzing the humanization management of human resources, the perception of nursing staff in a public maternity hospital. Collecting data through semi-structured interviews with 29 respondents recorded, with 06 nurses and 23 nursing technique, the period February to May 2013 collection The material was literally transcribed and subjected to content analysis technique developed by five thematic categories: Humanization Policy of the SUS; Assistance and Processes promoters humanization of nursing services; Skills and managerial skills of the nurse; Quality of nursing care. The study aims to verify the knowledge of the nursing staff about the management of breast-feeding before and after the educational activity, to evaluate the application of the active methodology and the effects of the guidelines of nursing mothers. A quantitative study of pre and post intervention and educational activity, shows a convenience sample of participants from the nursing staff and 48 nursing mothers at a maternity ward of a university hospital. Data was collected from January to March of 2014. The nursing staff, 76.7% were nursing technicians and 23.3% were nurses; 96.7% were female; 46.7% were between 41-50 years of age and length of service, 43.3% were between 11-20 years old. From the 43.3% who did training, 50.0% had an up to date course on breastfeeding before 2000 and 50% before 2013. In the educational activity, the active methodology that favored knowledge with significant increase of the average pretest and posttest of 56.2% to 87.4%, p <0.001 was used. The nursing mothers were in the age group between 20 and 30 years; with up to three living children and 100% with prior history in nursing. There was a decrease from 43% to 16% of nursing mothers who breastfed their newborn within thefirst hour of life. However, there has been progress in guidance on the importance ofbreastfeeding from 5.6% to 44%; as the proper position of the newborn increased by 73.9% to 100%; support of nursing breastfeeding increased from 28.6% to 60%. The effects of guidelines for nursing mothers, the data showed that after training the nursing staff showed a slight increase in this performance in developed educational activities with 48 postpartum lactating nursing mothers. These, and other problems related to drug use are the subject of study of pharmacovigilance. It becomes necessary knowledge by health professionals to improve patient safety. Objective: To measure the knowledge and attitudes among healthcare professionals in a teaching hospital towards adverse drugs reactions and a pharmacovigilance program. Methodology: Cross-sectional study conducted from October 2013 to January 2014 with 54 health professionals in a medical unit and in the pharmacy of a sentinel hospital. Data were collected through a questionnaire divided into three sessions: the first is the profissiographic and demographic characteristics of health professionals, and the subsequent identification of knowledge on adverse drug reactions and Pharmacovigilance hospital program. Results: There was a predominance of technical professionals in nursing (35.2%), female (79.6%), aged between 26 and 30 years (33.4%). Almost half of the participants (46.2%) had knowledge about adverse drug reactions, likewise 35.8% did towards pharmacovigilance. The probability of having knowledge about adverse drug reactions increases with longer professional training and activities at the institution, and the same does not occur with the knowledge of pharmacovigilance. Regarding the institutional knowledge, only 11.1% of participants stated that they know the site that has operations across the suspected adverse drug reactions and 38.9% reported the knowledge about the inclusion of the institution on a pharmacovigilance program. Conclusion: There was a predominance of female professionals, the technical area in nursing and training time and work at less than or equal to five years institution. It was observed that doctors have more knowledge about the concept of adverse drug reaction, and nurse technician, the lowest. Health professionals had little knowledge about the location of the institution that has operations across the adverse drug reactions and inserting the same in any program pharmacovigilance.Item Atenção à mulher no climatério realizada por profissionais da estratégia da saúde da família(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-07-11) Pereira, Angela Bete Severino; Pereira, Milca Severino; Martins, Cleusa Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3673049551991956; Martins, Cleusa Alves; Lima, Jacqueline Rodrigues de; Almeida, Nilza Alves MarquesIntroduction: The climacteric period is the transitional period between reproductive and non-reproductive life in women. Clinical evaluation of women during the climacteric period should be dictated by their health situation and possible difficulties endemic to this time, and involve a cross functional team. Healthcare includes both promotion of health and disease prevention. Objective: To evaluate the care provided to women during the climacteric period by health professionals using the Family Health Strategy. Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional, exploratory study conducted among university educated health professionals using the Family Health Strategy (FHS) in the East Healthcare District of Goiania, Goias, Brazil. Data were collected through a questionnaire. This data collection instrument was previously assessed by experts and underwent pilot testing. All stages of the study were developed in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of Brazilian National Council on Health Resolution no. 466/2012. Data were processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences using descriptive statistics and presented in tables and figures. Results: Participants included 57 (75.0%) university educated health professionals who work in the FHS. Many of the healthcare professionals reported that there are differences between the climacteric period and menopause, 57.9% could define these two phases accurately. The main reason that leads women in the climacteric period to seek care in the FHS is related to difficulties with understanding the signs and symptoms of the climacteric period, followed by questions related to new forms of hormone therapy. Concern with physical appearance presents itself as a common complaint during the climacteric period. Deficiencies and limitations in the qualifications of healthcare professionals related to knowledge of the topic of the climacteric period was the greatest difficulty. Cultural interference in the treatment of women during this phase featured prominently in reports. Conclusions: It is essential to create normative procedures and guidance for healthcare related activities for women in climacteric, especially when it comes to differences in the implementation of hormone replacement therapy. This will bring benefit to the professionals in terms of greater autonomy and safety in prescribing these and other types of treatment, ensuring completeness in service, with resolutions in a shorter timeframe.Item Sistematização da assistência de enfermagem: perspectiva para autonomia profissional(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-07-11) Ferreira, Eric Benchimol; Taleb, Alexandre Chater; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3191620401627150; Pereira, Milca Severino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9304767101674108; Taleb, Alexandre Chater; Souza, Adenícia Custódio Silva e; Martins, Cleusa AlvesStudies on theories of nursing, since the days of Florence, have presented ideas about the development of tools for professionals in nursing to develop clinical reasoning and deepen scientific knowledge, increasing their ability to provide quality service. The use of systematic processes in nursing is a relevant factor for excellence of care. The objective of this study was to analyze the perception of nurses about the systematization of nursing care from the perspective of professional autonomy. This is a descriptive, exploratory, cross-sectional study, which was conducted in five inpatient clinics of a large, public teaching hospital, located in the Midwestern region of Brazil, in the period August-September 2013, involving 24 nurses. The implementation of the National Policy of Permanent Healthcare Education (NPPHE) defined these processes as learningwork and by occurring in the people’s everyday lifeand organizations. The goal of this work was to analyze the records of the educational activities performed by the healthcare units of the municipality of Jataí from the perspective of NPPHE. It was decided for a descriptive study, retrospective with documental analysis of the activities described in 2012. The results pointed out that the educative activities in the municipality have been mostly related to the healthcare education, focused on community, with demand and internal events to the unity, followed by the continuing education activities for specific groups. The number of activities focused on the worker was of 8,4% in relation to the universe of study. The justifications for them to happen departed from two categories: administrative issues and health care. Therefore, the effective implementation of the permanent healthcare education is a challenge for the healthcare services, by considering the pedagogical-political complexity in which falls the context of the public health in Brazil. Moreover, to manage the change of educative practices which are significant at work for work, one requires a continuous professional training.Item Palhaço no hospital: percepção da influência do pronto sorriso como instrumento de aprendizagem no ensino da graduação em medicina(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-07-31) Oliveira, Arlene de Sousa Barcelos; Pereira, Milca Severino; Lima, Fátima Maria Lindoso da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5289890813807831; Lima, Fátima Maria Lindoso da Silva; Moraes, Vardeli Alves de; Costa Neto, Sebastião Benício da“Pronto Sorriso” is an open core course of the medical school at Federal University of Goias, with the mission of holistic training of academics through entertainment and performing arts, prompting the creation of the hospital clown, and other recreational activities. The present research aimed to examine the profile of training and qualification of the professionals of the Family Health Strategy (FHS) and factors associated with quality of Primary Health Care (PHC) services in the northwest Goiania. This is a cross-sectional study whose data were collected through a structured interview, including the application of the Primary Care Assessment Tool - PCA-Tool. The study included 48 doctors and 44 nurses from FHS teamwork. Data were analyzed using the U -test of Man-Whitney, chi-square or Fischer test, Student-t test and Poisson regression, with 5% significant level. The results showed significant differences (p <0.05) between the profile of training and qualifications of doctors and nurses. Doctors had higher turnover rates while nurses were the most experienced and trained as well as had a greater bond with the FHS. The evaluation of the PHC attributes indicated a low essential score (6.5) and a high non essential score (96.9), totalizing a high general PHC score (6.7). The analysis of the professional profiles associated with the quality of PHC services pointed out that the low turnover rates of doctors and the positive contribution of trainings for professional development were associated with better quality of services. However, this association did not remain in the final explanatory model. It is concluded that nurses have a professional profile more conducive to working on PHC and the training and skills of health professionals in the northwestern region of Goiânia are related to the quality of PHC.
